MAXIMILIAN MUNICH Apartments & Hotel

Where do I start? We’ve been home one month now, and I’m still smiling. Well, our whole trip to Munich was wonderful, but that’s for another review. The staff were so accommodating and welcoming! Anything we needed was handled promptly and professionally! Everyone was a pleasure to work with! The Hotel was charming and a quiet haven from the busyness of the city of Munich. We chose the Luxus Garden Studio apartment, on the third floor, with a balcony, facing the gardens. We were there for two weeks and found the accommodations very comfortable. The kitchen area was fully equipped and we really enjoyed the premium coffee maker, which was replenished daily. There was ample storage for both of us and we never felt cramped. In saying that, let me add that we had one large suitcase and 2 carryons. The bathroom was an ample size and we enjoyed the rain shower head. The water temperature and the water pressure were good. There was also a towel warmer rack, which would be perfect for cooler temperatures. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony and relaxing, after a busy day. We found the bed very comfortable, as well. I went to the gym, on a daily basis, and used their yoga equipment. It was clean and fresh in there. We never ate at their restaurant, as we had breakfast in our room. We went to the grocery store daily, and got fresh fruit and yogurt for breakfast. We had a wonderful time, but feel that I should add some additional comments. There are no elevators, so our 3rd floor room was a walk-up. Our luggage was delivered to our room, so that wasn’t an issue. We didn’t mind the stairs, as we really enjoyed eating everything Munich had to offer. It was just additional exercise. We needed that. The tv was strictly German tv, with the exception of CNN and CNBC. I would have liked if they offered some premium channels, for movies and such. Ultimately, if we return to Munich, which would be wonderful, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. That’s how much we enjoyed the hotel!
