One small warning - the name of this guest house is not displayed outside the actual address. This can be frustrating but you will see it on the list of flats on the third floor once you get through the main door. Pedantic German regulations prevent this accommodation being advertised as a "Gasthaus" outside as "Gasthaus" means "hotel" in German, when this is more a "guest house" in the English sense. Having said this, it is run by a delightful couple called Jens and Peter. Germans are noted for their neatness and gay Germans are REALLY neat. This results in a very clean and organised place to stay at good prices. Jens and Peter will wash your clothes for 5 euros and you must find your own food but there is a handy supermarket nearby that has everything. You just use the kitchen and keep it tidy. It is helpful to let them know when you are arriving. This is in the heart of Berlin within the reach of everything you want to visit and is nice and quiet. No TV but who needs that when you can go to the Cabaret, old chum? I will definitely book again.
