Sanchaba Yellow Apartments

This year we decided to stay in an apartment for the first week before going onto Jinack as we had brought our family with us (in their twenties).This is a lovely place to stay out of the tourist area.there is a small shop opposite where you can buy essentials fresh eggs bread coffee peak milk etc.There is also a small supermarket and fruit and veg market within easy walking distance.there is also a great little local bar and eatery on way to said supermarket we were made feel very welcome there and had a plate of their pork and a few drinks each all for 460 d for 5.There is a taxi opposite and next door so transport is not a problem as it is only a short walk to the Brusubi turntable so transport in any direction is easy.The apartment itself is well equiped and beds are very comfortable with ceiling fans in all rooms.Sheets were changed every couple of days and with two bathrooms there was never a queue.The staff were great Lamin met us to show us to the apartment and show us around and supply us with a wireless internet dongle (we didnt use this but it did work) Lamin couldnt do enough to make sure we had a good stay the night watchman Abdul was really friendly and helped to make our stay memorable we cooked a couple of times using the cooker with no problems and invited Abdul to join us he gave the seal of approval on my fish benechin and domada it was just like having another member of the family at the table laughing and chatting.We didnt meet the cleaner as we were out and about a lot of the time but did an a1 job often getting our washing in and folding it.Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying here i have clicked as a budget stay this is only because of the price not the facility itself.
