we stayed here on may 23rd for 1 night. There was a note on the door to say we could get in from 15.00hrs but by 15.10hrs nobody had arrived so we phoned the number given on the door. A man answered who sounded as if he had been woken up from his siesta. After a couple of minutes a "shirtless oik" arrived to let us in, no conversation even tho we speak French.Later we had to ask for a remote for the a/c unit and were given the same treatment by Madame.This is a shame as the hotel is Ok for the price, it could be lovely if the garden was tidied up, but the rooms and the pool were clean.

I hope this is the correct hotel, as we stayed at the Hotel de la Madeleine in Sarlat-la-Caneda, France.  It was in the center of everything and while the rooms were a bit small, they were very nicely appointed and quiet, as our room faced the main square and street but we had no problem sleeping at all.  They had robes, I love it when hotels have robes, and a wonderful pool, jacuzzi, dry and wet sauna and a shower that has different rain storms like in the tropic, thunderstorm, etc.  hope they didn't pay much for it :-)

They have a wonderful breakfast and the help at breakfast was great, but there was a woman at the front desk who didn't seem to want to come out from behind the front desk wall unless you rang or even walked back to get her.  Oh well, the rest of the staff were ver accommodating.

In the heart of Sarlat, France

Room was clean and comfortable, though simple.  Great swimming pool.  Staff members were flexible and accommodating.  Great location - 5 minutes from Anduze Centre-ville, on the road between Anduze and Nimes.
