Camping La Touesse

Lovely campsite with good facilities and lovely staff, and just the most wonderful owners who go so far above and beyond for their visitors it's almost unbelievable. I visited in 2017 with extended family, and we got very unlucky with the weather. My sister was camping with 3 young children, and after several days of torrential rain, Brigitte offered them a free upgrade to a vacant chalet for the rest of the week so they could all get (and stay,) dry. Rescued the holiday! In 2022 my parents were holidaying at La Touesse when my father was taken very seriously ill. Again, Brigitte came to the rescue during the horrific first 24 hours til a family member could get to France to support my mother, fielding mid-night phone calls from hospitals, interpreting, driving mum to and from Rennes intensive care unit... so much more than it would be reasonable to expect from a business owner.
