Domaine des Vignes d'Hôtes

Set in amongst their vineyards and close to the villages in this Beaujolais Region, this B&B was the perfect location. From here, we could explore the local towns/villages and we took the local train into Lyon for a day excursion. It was nice to return to our quiet B&B in the evening. Our modern family suite was large and quiet and the beds were comfortable. We were able to prepare our own meals in the common area kitchen and sit on the terrace by the pool enjoying the views of the vineyards while sipping a glass of wine produced by this vintner. In the evenings, I enjoyed a walk on the village roads that take you thru the vineyards and past villas and pastures of hay. The town of Bagnols does not have an evening restaurant or grocery store so we drove to Les Bois d'Oingt for our provisions and to catch the train to Lyon. Our hostess, Helene, made sure all of our needs were met. Each morning we enjoyed our breakfast of bread, fresh fruit, coffee/tea and grape juice from their vineyards. I would love to return someday.
