Appartements Le Clos des Bambous

This is great apartment a little way from the centre but easily accessible from the tram. Luis was a great host who explained all the features of the apartment really well. Wi-Fi was good, not exceptionally fast but more good and reliable. We struggled a little with midges / mosquitos which is probably an issue you would encounter anywhere in Bordeaux. All the facilities of the apartment were of a good standard with plenty of room for the two of us. There is a small bakery just along at the end of the street and we enjoyed fresh croissants and bread each morning. A small supermarket near the tram stop provided all the food and wine we needed for the limited self catering we did. We did trips on the train out to Arcachon, a nice seaside resort on the Atlantic coast and also to the world heritage site wine producing village of St Emillion, both had plenty to do and were well worth the visit. Along with the attractions of Bordeaux made for an enjoyable and recommended stay.
