We stayed here 2 nights while we saw the sights of Angers.  It is in a very convenient location close to everything, spacious well appointed room.  Our room had a balcony great for sitting and having an evening drink.  Very quiet at night, locked yard has very good security.  Great selection at breakfast.  The host spoke excellent English.  We couldnt get wifi in our room but could in the upstairs lounge nearby.  The creaky floors might have been annoying to other guests but it didn't worry us.  We would certainly recommend.

Spacious, comfortable, great location

The building is beautiful. It surrounds a small courtyard. The rooms are superb. Each is quirkly decorated. The staff are very helpful. Breakfast is divine. Sit awhile in the guest lounge. Read the books, play the old records on the wind up gramaphone and chill. An oasis of beauty and calm in the city. Bike storage is in the open in the courtyard. So not ideal if you arrive by bike but what is? Enjoy

Magnificent building. Stay here.

I stayed at Maison Bossoreil for three nights and loved it.  I believe it is an old mansion that has been updated very nicely -- keeping the old charm but giving some modern updates -- to accommodate bed and breakfast guests.  Alexandra at the front desk speaks English very well and was a lovely hostess -- always concerned about my well being.  The bed was comfortable and my bathroom had a large bathtub and large sink.  Breakfast was huge, delicious and always included fresh fruit, fresh baguette and croissants.  The place is immaculate and I really felt like I was living in France -- not some generic hotel.  Will definitely stay here again!

An Excellent Choice!

Lucky enough to have stayed at this lovely property for two nights. Recently restored mansion with a modern twist.  Very close to everything in Angers.   Spacious rooms,  fabulous breakfast with breads, jams and great cheeses in a great dining room.  Alexandra was a lovely, smiling and helpful presence in the mornings.  She even spotted the carry on that we'd left behind during check out and ran out to  bring it to us just before we got into our taxi.  We will be back to Angers and wouldn't think of staying elsewhere.

Luxury B and B

Stayed in this wonderful chambre d'hote in August. Set in a charming french townhouse in central Angers, this is a lovely place to just slow down and savor this pretty town and its surrounding area. The hotel is beautifully decorated, retaining many of its original architectural features but nevertheless with a strong accent on the modern, so providing a calm atmosphere of charm and elegance. Rooms are fresh and stylish. The bathroom was modern and very clean. Staff on hand were helpful, courteous and offered good tips and advice on what Angers had to offer. All in all this is a truly delightful place to stay and with room rates that comparatively speaking are very competitive , it is tremendous value too. Best accommodation we had on our trip to France this year. Highly recommended all round.
