King Hotel is located near ”the city centre”, which is... small. 

Our hotel room was a suite. The toilet seat was deattached from the floor, so the smell of sewer got in. There was no phone in the room, or no sauna available. Even though they are mentioned in the description. The fridge in the room was so loud, that it couldn’t been on during nights. Basic small fridge would be better. Restaurant wasn’t open on Saturday night, which was a huge loss. 

We stayed in King Hotel for three nights/four days, and during that time our room was not cleaned. The garbage bin should have been emptied and the towels should have been changed at least, well, once. 

The staff was ok. And the bed was comfortable. Toilets floor heating was a pleasant welcome.

Basic with a few flaws

Pluses: The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. There was a free parking place at the back of the house (not guarded). The man at the reception and in the restaurant spoke good English and was very nice and customer oriented. The food at the restaurant (dinner and small meals) was very good. At the breakfast table, the omelette and the sausages were tasty. And I liked their dark roast coffee. The surroundings were quiet.

Minuses: There was no shower curtain. The mattress protector was 10-20 cm narrower than the mattress itself. The shower flow was low (enough for washing but not for long showers). The breakfast cost 5 euros and was quite modest but it was enough though (bread, porridge, omelette, sausages, corn flakes...). The sausage slices for the bread were so thick that I didn’t want to eat them. There was no juice available, only lemon water (I didn’t taste). One morning we ran out of coffee and had to go and ask for more. The next morning the coffee was served from a coffee pump pot which did not work too well. The lady who took care of the cleaning and I suppose also of the breakfast did not speak English.
