We rented a hut on the beach for the first time in Ayla. I have to admit, it's more than just a Nuweiba hut; it's got light, a multi-socket power outlet, a fan, and a mosquito net. The door, window, and bedding sheets on the mattress are color coded, which I found to be quite charming. The location is beautiful and serene, with a gorgeous beach for a refreshing swim. The food is wholesome and delicious, with generous servings. The communal bathrooms and showers are always clean and never run out of TP or soap. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'm vegan, and they accommodated my special dietary requirements professionally.The Manager, Bernard, has impeccable taste, very customer oriented, and after a couple of conversations, you're already friends... and Max, the camp dog, is the friendliest, sweetest thing! He's so well behaved and chill, and pretty playful once he knows you're good people. Worth mentioning that Max is also very environmentally aware... the first dog I've ever seen to grab anything out of the sea that doesn't belong there to place it on the shore for humans to throw away!The placement of colors across the camp adds a pleasant detail, while seamless music speakers spread out subtly, and the music is always good. You can even volunteer to share your own playlist if everyone's cool with it. I would definitely come back to Ayla, and absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to spend some quality calm Nuweiba time under the Sinai stars.

Loved it 

I stayed at Ayla Camp with friends for a too-short two night stay to hike Mt. Sinai. We are all American but Ayla came recommended by an Egyptian friend of ours and I am so glad we took his advice. The best way to describe the experience for Westerners is "glamping." To start, the beach and surrounding landscape are magical. We slept in desert tents on the beach, feet from the ocean, that are equipped with mattresses and small pieces of furniture. There is a shared bathroom with simple but nice showers and the Bedouin food, cooked by camp employees, is bountiful, healthy and delicious. The owner of the property, Bernard, is very kind and was a lovely host. He sat with us for a beer after dinner and told us all about the region and some lesser known history of the area. His dog, Max, is a sweetheart too. 

This is a camp so people looking for a traditional Western resort experience might want to think twice about staying here. But if you want to have a nature centric experience, your hippie heart will be smiling here. I could have stayed for days more. 



Relaxing Stay, Beautiful Surroundings, Incredible Host

It is the first time for me stay in a camp and sleep in a hut. Ayla is a very safe place with good service and friendly staff. There you will find the amazing Max and it will play with u.. this is order not choice.

The best place for relaxation

We were the only guests at Ayla Camp and slept in the tent, nested in the dunes. It was great. Very quiet, snorkeling just in front of the tent and very tasty food. The cook is patient and makes good traditional food. The portions were enormous. One day he grilled our fresh tuna -gives by the beach bedouines. This was also prepared in a delicious way. After a few days: we gained a few pounds. 
You can walk along the beach and meet the bedouins living on the beach. It is easy to be invited for tea by the friendly people. Max - the golden retriever - was our best companion. The service was great and the owner very kind and helpful. We have had a lovely time in Nuweiba.

Best camping and great food

Having stayed at various other places in Sinai,I finally found the perfect place to relax and be refreshed,away from the big,noisy city. Falling asleep to the sound of the surf was great and just being totally surrounded by nature was just what i needed.The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and that includes Max,the sweetest Golden Retriever. :-)I will certainly return!Thank you!!!

Home away from home

It was my first experience in Nweibaa in July and it was awesome and perfect enough for me to visit it again in September. The best owner "Bernard" decent, friendly, professional. The crew is amazing. "Talal" is the most bedwain gentleman I met,thanks for everything.
They have the most amazing golden retriever "Max" who welcomes every guest. The place is amazing, very clean, the beach is very good, food is excellent, great hospitality. It's my place where I find peace of mind, good people and positivity.
