Our family of 4 traveled to Punta Cana and stayed at the Sirenis, Wonderful vacation. Great service from Kilmis at the Lobby. Our concierge Ricky was awesome. Also Javier who is a concierge was great.

Wonderful vacation

The music is boring.  We would have really enjoyed more upbeat beach\pool music.  Just because we are members we are not stiff.  The staff was amazing and fun but they couldn't change the elevator music.

VIP pool bar music

I was a bit confused at the beginning of my holydays. I had a little trouble registering at the lobby. Ricky arrived and helped me. I found a well clean room, small but clean. Well stocked mini bar. Well ordered bathroom. 

THe restaurants are very good, standard service. The buffet is also very good, it could be a little more varieed, but the dishes are delicious. The same Ricky helps me to find table at several restaurants, this man has everything, he was very helpful. 

These holidays were superb.

Nice Holydays

Just got back this week from two weeks at the Sirenis. Overall it was an incredible holiday. We were a group of seven with a small child and we were all very satisfied with this hotel. We had read the previous bad reviews and were all a bit worried about what it was going to be like. 
We booked through tui uk. The rooms we all got were brilliant all on the refurbished side my friends parents were in a lovely room with a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath and my friend and I had a suite with separate living room. Rooms are very modern with two large televisions a nice balcony with great view. Rainfall shower in the bathroom was lovely! 
Housekeeping ; room cleaned to perfection every day clothes and shoes tidied up for us. Slight delay each day getting towels but always arrived in time to get ready for dinner. 
Food; I was very happy with the food was so much to choose from not sure how anyone could not find something they like every day. Different themed nights so not the same thing all the time. Great selection of desserts! We went to the American, Tex mex and Italian restaurants and these were all great. BBQ on the beach was great for an afternoon snack. And the pool restaurant is open during the night for food after the nightclub! Rafaela who works the diner section of the restaurant was lovely and friendly on several occasions and very helpful! As was Jacqueline in the main restaurant part. 
Pool and beach, pool was huge and in different sections so was never too crowded. One part was full of kids but in the other parts it was empty most of the time so you could swim if you liked. Nice bar in the pool too. Plenty of space around the pool to get a sunbed. Not like other hotels where it’s just Rows and Rows of sun beds. 
Beach was really nice also with loads of space. Workers on beach every day clearing seaweed etc. sea a little rough when we were there but just went in pool on them days. 
Waterpark was pretty good with a few slides. Also food and drink included there all day long. Little girl in our group (aged 2) loved it here. 
Nightlife; after dinner we went to watch the entertainment every evening which was always really good. Great dancers and games involving guests. After the dancing was either karaoke or the house band and everyone dancing. Lovely setting for this with bar right next to it for drinks. Special thanks to Beto one of the dancers for dancing with our group every night and always coming over to say hello! After that was the nightclub el bonche which can sometimes be packed or very quiet. Good place to finish the night. Also a casino next to that which is more of an arcade with a few tables but had a couple of good nights in there. 
Jimmy on the lobby bar was very friendly and helpful. We met him on our first night and made us welcome! 
Just to note there is not much outside of the resort nearby but as there was so much there it’s not a problem. If you go right along the beach you can walk all the way down past all the other hotels. There’s Some souvenir shops and places offering massages which we did one day. Try not to forget anything as the hotel gift shop was overly expensive for suncream nappies chargers etc. 
We took a catamaran tour to Saona Island and this was one of the highlights of the holiday so I’d highly recommend this! 
Overall Sirenis was a great place to stay. Make sure to tip the staff every now and then, they really appreciate it and give great service and try to ensure you have the best holiday. 
If there’s any problems just chase them up and they will sort it. No use leaving it until you get home to complain about it. 
I know part of the hotel is being renovated so your room may not be amazing but the rest of the resort will more than make up for it!

Amazing two weeks here

Since the day i arrived in this hotel, all was wonderful. The cleanliness of the complex is impeccable. Excellent service, staff always smiling. The new rooms are spacious, the room service is done without disturbing you. The beach, the pools, the bathrooms, were always clean. Big thank you to Ricky, for his dedication, his kindness, without him with near me, it would be difficult to spend wonderful days.

The Best Hotel In Uvero Alto

Outstanding experience,great resort, thanks Krandall for being our guide. Beautiful pool and beach. Wi-fi is costly but you can walk on the beach to Excellence resort, their wifi is free.
Food is good, stuff is helpful, we are coming back for sure.

Great vacation with Family

Sirenis is not a great resort the food was not great and the buffets did that have enough seats for the people that were at the resort.It was not the cleanest resort and they cared to much about timeshare sales which is a major turn off for me 

Not great

I wanted to write a quick review about Sirenis Hotel.  Although the hotel needed some upgrading, it was very clean and the food was amazing. We went with 5 adults and 4 children from 7 - 12 years old, it was a good family vacation. The kids were disappointed that the waterpark was not always operational, the basketball nets were closed, no one was running the tennis courts and the entertainment schedule for the kids was always off the stated times, which left us doing a lot of walking!  The entertainment team is great at what they do, It would be a lot more fun if they stayed on schedule for the children, especially after we booked a massage for the time our kids would be at the kids club, however, the kids club was closed for that afternoon? 
We did the adventure village, and wish we had not wasted a day going to adventure village and had stayed at the resort and walked the beach.  

If it was not for Guigi's team I believe our trip would have been a lot different.  
Guigi's team went over and above for us and made sure that we were extremely happy for the whole week. Fixing the A/C immediately, changing our rooms to accommodate our dad,  Answering every question and phone call and always very happy to see us walking around the resort - Ana makes the BEST Coffee she is the sweetest, be sure to meet Ana, Jose, and Super Tony. Guigi's team made us feel at home by the end of the 7 days we did not want to leave! The only reason I would go back to Sirenis Hotel is to see  Ana, Jose, Super Tony and all of Guigi's team.

Loved the Staff at Sirenis Punta Cana!

Sirenis is 50 minutes out of Punta Cana but worth it for the excellent beach and that get away from it all vacation. The a la carte restaurants at the hotel were all excellent, Brazilian, Japanese, Mediterranean and Italian highly recommended. There are 2 large buffet restaurants.and 1 24 hr buffet at the pool, very convenient. Breakfast buffet is the best with fresh fruit smoothies, custom made omelettes, excellent service.  Unfortunately one buffet was closed always at dinner making the remaining dinner buffet over crowded and chaotic at times. I recommend getting as many a la carte dinners as you can. This hotel is being converted into a 'members only' club, there is a huge difference between the old remaining public rooms and the renovated members only rooms. The old section is tired, musty with plumbing that is hit or miss, no hot water in the showers by the end of the day.The beach, pools and entertainment staff were excellent. The water park is a nice place for kids and there is a lunch buffet there that is not busy. The grounds and gardens are beautiful but be prepared to walk a fair bit, complementary golf cart service in the resort is members only. The casino was fun, casino staff were very professional. There are nice tennis courts and a large gym. The guests the week we were there were very European and Russian, hardly anyone speaking English in the bars, so didn't meet as many people as we usually do on vacation. 
There are tours and excursions available for booking at the pool and at the lobby. The wind caused all the boat trips and beach toys to be cancelled. My husband and son took the 'dune' Buggies (large ATVs) Trip to the caves, the day it rained so it was mud heaven they had a great time, highly recommended, don't wear your best cloths and take a bandana to cover your face from the dust/mud. 
The members sales pitch is high pressure and made us feel that we were not really being served well unless we were members at times. The members have preferential service and attention.

Excellent Beach, a la carte Restaurants

We arrived with high expectations following reviews read and to be honest we couldn't fault the resorts overall presentation or the lovely beach however; you don't sleep in the gardens and despite being given a junior suite in the upgraded section, which was spacious and lovely, we soon found that the air-conditioning did not work - and despite several attempts at fixing it, it remained not working for the whole 14 days. we had cock roaches in the bathroom (which they sprayed) and our daughters room was invaded by ants, which they sprayed several times.
The resort has two main dining rooms, both open for breakfast which was generally of a good standard, the waitresses (especially Yamaris and Ana) were great at finding us a table and looking after us with a smile - however the evening meals were a nightmare; Only one restaurant is opened and queues formed every night, then diners are slowly admitted into the room as tables became available - sometimes queuing for up to 45 minutes occurred every night! WHY MANAGEMENT could not simply open both restaurants at night (as they do in the morning) is beyond me? The food was not to my liking or poor - every night, without exception.
However my main problem with this resort is the continued and on-going pressure by the concierges, every single day, to try and make you attend a membership selling programme, where high pressure sales are used, (like time share) to secure hotel membership throughout the Serenis Group - at any cost, it totally spoilt our holiday experience, with people like our concierge "Crandal"  saying "if you go it will help me get a point which goes toward Serenis paying for my kids school and medical payments that they make - can you help me out" Emotional blackmail is the only way I could describe his approach, others just kept asking and asking every day, we found out that they actually are on commission for getting you into the sales room - surprise surprise !!
Couple this with the ongoing undercurrent of needing to tip constantly for service (that was supposed to be all inclusive) and you start to get the idea of what Serenis is all about - MONEY. My yellow plastic wrist strap got snagged and broke, reception wanted $60.00 US to replace it, said it was the rules. I fixed it with sellotape.  We will not be returning.
