The B&B is located in an old farm next to the road. Arriving it looks very charming - until you enter the house. There is a smell of mould and it looks like it’s been ages since it has been cleaned properly. Cobwebs and dirt are to be found everywhere. The room hadn’t been cleaned, and it was questionable whether the bed linen had been changed since the last guest. The shared bathroom & toilet also lacked cleaning, and smelled like sewage. 
Apparently the host had given up or didn’t care. 
I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone.

Dirty and awful

We were 11 students and we stayed there for two nights. The host let us pay him in Euros (he didn't accept credit cards, the nearest bank was two kilometres away and we didn't have any car). In addition to, in the second night, while we were having dinner he brought us some ice creams and really tasty apples. We got in love with that grandpa. 

The best host you can find

We were 11 friends and the owner treated us as if we were his grandchildren. The place is very clean, comfy and with the best owner in the world! He doesn't speak English but with Google Translate you can enjoy talking with him! 

The best place we've ever been! 

The room was at ground floor with 5 ok beds, Tv, table and fridge. Bathroom was spacious. There lingered a old clothes smell in the room coming from the beds and blankets. 
The shower was still wet with a wet towel so someone must have used it before we arrived...a bit awkward. 
Owner is very nice. 

Old smell in rooms but nice owner

The location is not too far out of the city centre and on the way (kind of) to the Fyrkat. We were greeted warmly by the owner, who was a older gentleman. He spoke very little English it seemed, but could understand us and knew enough English to communicate what we needed to know. He was extremely kind and very hospitable. He had our names and details on a sheet on our door (with a little flag of our nationality which was fun) and then showed us around the room to make sure that we were satisfied with it. The room itself was amazing and reminded us of what you would have at home, including a table and TV. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was large and modern. We felt bad because there were only two of us for the one night and we were in a room with four beds, but reassured us it was fine. There is a large courtyard in the estate, where we parked our car.

We did not opt for the breakfast or use of any of the amenities, as we simply needed a bed for the night.

By far the best value for what was offered. Would highly recommend this place for any length of stay in Hobro.
