Hotel Arnika

Simple, friendly and very clean hotel with attentive and talkative personal. Whatever help or advice you need you will get it with a smile from the waiters. We had two twin-bed rooms and a 7-months old boy with us. We got a cot for baby with a smile, breakfast was included and all fruits and vegetables in buffet were fresh and very tasty. The buffet was really rich and you could choose from yoghurt, home-made pancakes, scrumbled eggs, juice, tea, coffee, home-baked cakes with blueberries. Dinner was also included and the dinner room had an amazing view to the valley and to the opposite foresty hills. I would go there without hesitation again. The only thing to think about are really thin and not sound-proof walls so I heard the couple in romance in the next room. I was happy there were happy and I am able to fall asleep in whatsoever sound-level so it was fine for me, but well, it was just a bit blushing to meet the couple at the breakfast next morning:D There is a "Walk among the tree-tops" in a hill close by and even with a stroller we were there in 45 minutes by slow walking pace. The restaurant that belongs to tree-tops walk is great for the number of customers they serve but if you like some calmer place then just cross the road and you will find a calmly-looking local restaurant in a wooden house and a cute garden in the front. From hotel by 4 minutes walk downhill on a safe and calm street you get to the spa promenade where you can drink spa water straight from a little drinkable fountain with a tap. You will find two cafes/conditories around. One in main spa building with huge glass windows and the other one diagonally across the square with more traditional Czech sweet treats.
