My partner booked this for me as a Christmas present. It was a bit out of season but that didn’t bother us. The hotel wasn’t fully opened because it wasn’t hot enough. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. They were very welcoming and professional. The hotel was very clean and modern. The restaurants were lovely. Plenty of variety! The entertainment at the ‘experience’ was surprisingly quite good! Especially the Queen tribute night! The pool area was lovely and has swim up bars! The cocktails were very strong and with the ‘proper’ alcohol. The bar service was rapid. They were tryna get us drunk! The location of the hotel was brilliant. Right on the beach and a nice walk along towards the harbour. Buy some cat food so you can feed all the cats on your way to the castle. The spa was pretty decent. The gym was ok. My boyfriend lifts loads so he didn’t think much of it. The lounge area was nice. The hotel was surprisingly really good. But it was cheap I didn’t know what to expect. Would happily stay here again and I generally have a rule about not going to the same place twice. Hope this helped you on your travels.
