We was so excited to get back to Riva and it’s fabulous views after missing out staying there the previous year due to covid and cancelled flights.
When arriving to check in I was told by the nice receptionist that there was no room at Riva for us due to cleaning and them wanting to give us a nice apartment (basically they had probably overbooked) so we was being moved to Belvedere, which is better. I commented that we had stayed in both previously and preferred Riva which is why we had specifically booked there.
I was slightly annoyed that as members of the Maistra loyalty programme they had not let know this before we arrived especially as we had done the online check in with them just the day before arriving so we should of been just been collecting the keys not being moved elsewhere.
Our Belvedere apartment was basic but nice enough but felt very strange that it had a big slippy bath that was difficult to get into rather than a walk in shower. It was suppose to be a sea view and we could see glimpses of the sea, through trees and a big resort map. 
It was far too crowded at Belvedere for us as we was all still suppose to be social distancing etc but as far as we could see it was like covid never existed. 
There was no teen club for my daughter to join in with, and we saw a lot of teens dragging  behind their parents on their phones looking bored.
We will definitely stay again but only if we know for certain we will get Riva.

Let Down ☹️

Booked apartments Riva as we have stayed in this location before at both Riva and Belvedere. We much prefer the views and less busy vibe of Riva but on arrival our booking was changed to Belvedere which was clearly not what we had booked. The apartment provided had no view as it was obscured by trees, again not what we had paid for or expected. The area was packed with tourists and we were very nervous as there was a complete disregard for any form of social distancing. Very disappointed with whole experience!

We was here 10 days this summer and it was best vacation. Very clean rooms, kind personal, tasty food- everything deserves the highest rating. Best recommendations from us. Thank you very much for this special days!

Stayed here for 1 week, top floor apartment with lovely view over harbour. Balcony bit small, though wasnt quite warm enough to sit on as didn't get sun at all. Apartment basic which you would expect for the price. Staff at Pineta always very helpful,  and even brought a bottle of bubbly for hubby on his birthday.  Kitchen very basic, really missed having a toaster. Pretty quiet didnt hear much noise from any neighbouring apartments 

Great base, clean apartment 

As we have visited Vrsar before we knew the excellent central location of the Riva apartments. Right by the harbour and only steps away from all that you need, restaurants, bars, bakery and shops.
The welcome we got from the staff in Pineta when checking in was excellent and she was very friendly and helpful and could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
The apartment was excellent, very clean and had loads of room for the three of us, the furniture is quite basic and simple, but there is a lot of storage space, we just would of liked a safe in there but the absolutely breathtaking view from the balcony more than made up for a couple of wants.
Despite its central location, it is very quiet and  calm, no disturbing noises from street level, not even at night, and it is very entertaining being able to people watch as well.
Towels and sheets were changed once during our week long stay. One beach towel is provided per person for free, and we had two bracelets which could be used at the pool bar or Belvedere restaurant to get a discount and is added to your final bill.
The pool and beach are a short 5 minute walk away. The pool is clean and has small slides to occupy children. The beach has pebbles, sunbeds, umbrellas and sport facilities, however we much preferred walking further around where we could snorkel off the rocks in the deep blue sea with trees as the natural shade.
On a stormy day my daughter and I was able to still go for a swim at the indoor pool at Pineta, we asked about paying for a sauna at reception and again they was very helpful and told us we could use it for a free hour as we were resort guests, what could of been a miserable day stuck indoors turned into a lovely relaxing day.
We enjoyed our stay at the Riva and would definitely recommend and return.

Fantastic Location!

I,d tried to arrange various treats for our wedding anniversary with intention of settling bill when got here, totally ignored, uprated to lovely big room in fantastic location but super king-size bed made with totally unsuitable small bedding room service very limited such a shame lovely room spoilt never gets sun on balcony unfortunately I was hoping for things for my wife's birthday not expecting anything.

Not happy

I simply cannot imagine better location in Vrsar. The building is right by the sea, only steps away from restaurants, bars, shops, beach, harbour, with breathtaking view from the balcony.
The furniture is quite simple, and a little bit outdated. However, the accomodation is excellent from all other aspects. Despite of its central location, it is quite calm, no disturbing noises from the street (except one morning, when the street was maintained at around 7.00 a.m.), not even at night. (Balcony door was open all night long during my sleep.) 
Buffet breakfast is available at Hotel Pineta (short walk uphill; also the place for check-in and check-out) for extra 75 HRK per person, but other restaurants nearby also serve breakfast. (My personal experience is that - although the restaurants mentioned latter serve breakfast for lower prices and seem better choice at first sight - taking into consideration the choice and quality, Pineta's breakfast is a real value for the money.) Nevertheless, since the apartment is equipped with a kitchen, you can make breakfast for yourself if you want.
Towels were changed once during our one-week-long stay. One beach towel is provided for free, and each of us got a bracelet which could be used to get discount in units operated by the same company. 
Extremely pleasant, well maintained and green environment with beautiful plants. The beach is also great, approx. 5 minutes away by foot. It has a part for the masses with pebbles, sunbeds, umbrellas and sport facilities, and another one with rocks, deep blue sea and natural shade.
Free parking, closed by a barrier.

In the centre of life

it was our second stay at Riga apps. Apartment has great view to marina and old town. Great value for the money. Very spacey, fully equipped apartment. Free access to indoor swimming pool at the hotel Pineta nearby. 

short break

The apartments are quite spacious and have basically all you need for a relaxing vacation. If you're gonna use the kitchen bring your own vileda and detergent. The furniture is somehow dated but still quite functional.

The best thing about these apartments is the harbour view but as you overlook the city centre and sea promenade be prepared for some noise. If you're looking for peace and quiet this is not a place for you. 

All apartments have balcony but their construction is somehow unordinary as you have very limited view because of too high concrete fence which is unfortunate as you see almost nothing when you sit on the balcony. 

Besides you have a guaranteed parking space. Wifi reception great. Aircon in our room was too noisy and did not produce enough warmth so it was a bit colder than desired. There are tiles on the floor so they're cold by nature. I suggest you choose Hotel Pineta during winter time. It's even more convenient too use the indoor swimmimg pool and sauna that are included in the price of the apartments as well.

Overall not bad. But many things could bother you so think twice before you book.
