Very nice hotel in the historic center of Rovinj. 
People are very nice and helpful. The rooms are also nice with quiet air condition. Very close to the center.
At arriving, I called the hotel and I was picked up at the car parking with my luggage.

Very good service and location in Rovinj

We have just had 2 nights in this hotel, we were transferred there following a booking error with another hotel. Stephano could not be more helpful, with lots of help with tours and information. The hotel is a little rustic, and full of character. Very well located in Rovinj.

Excellent service 

We had a lovely 3 night stay in this centrally located hotel. The accommodation has a rustic, homely charm and the rooms are spacious and have a passable air conditioning unit. But the rooms are large, light and effectively simple in design. 

The breakfast was led by an excellent lady who provides fresh ingredients and a good range of high quality foods. This is preferable to having a very large variety of mediocre foods and the breakfast left us very satisfied every morning. She had a warm service and was very attentive. 

The manager, Stefano, is an excellent and dedicated personality in the hotel and he sent a driver for us on arrival, met us to help carry our luggage and made fantastic restaurant recommendations. One of the restaurants that he referred us to - Tutto Bene - was a highlight of the holiday. I have left a separate review for the restaurant. 

If you have an opportunity to stay in beautiful Rovinj, the hotel is an excellent option. Thank you Stefano and the team for our stay. 

Excellent service and location

We really enjoyed our stay here!! The host was very inviting and helpful and rooms were spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The location is incredible, breakfast was delicious, and the value for this hotel is outstanding.

Cozy and Convenient 

The first important thing to know is that you cannot arrive by car to the hotel: you must leave the car in a parking lot, and a driver (taxi) then takes you to your destination; this service costs € 13 per day, which are paid upon check-out. The hotel is practically in the center of the village, it is very nice, housed in an old structure but equipped with all comforts. The rooms are large enough, the staff is very kind, starting with Stefano, the hotel manager. Breakfast is more than sufficient and of good quality, with a little preponderance of the salty part. The location is perfect, from here you can reach any place, by pleasant walks; also the pier, from which to leave for the excursions to the islands, is two steps away. The only downside, in my opinion, is daily cleaning, which is a bit superficial and could be better. In any case, this is a place I would recommend

A comfortable place in the historic center of the village

This hotel is not a hotel: it is a hostel where the staff cannot speak English.  Therefore, it should not have 4 stars.  The rooms are not as elegant as the photos, some elements of the bathroom are dirty and even the latter has no privacy.  In its favor it has that it is located in the center of Rovinj, that the breakfast is quite acceptable and that it has air conditioning in all the rooms.  The price is totally high for what it offers.

Staff can't speak English, some rooms are little dirty and expensive price

Its a beautiful property, really old building , but a hotel must be run efficiently and make their guests comfortable. More than half the time , there is no one at the reception. We were lucky that we got Stephano at the reception when we checked in. The next day when we returned to our rooms, we found that it wasn't cleaned and Stephano didnt know about it!  
WiFi is spotty.
I wouldn't stay here again. While the ambience is good, its not enough for a comfortable stay.
Needs better management

Great Location..but...

WiFi not working, overpriced at £150 per night double room, no interest  by staff if things not working in rooms. Breakfast ok . Very good location and central to all attractions. Would not recommend due to overpricing and poorly finished maintenance in rooms

Good location

There is just one solitary person in the hotel. Often, actually, very often, he is not to be seen. There is not a should otherwise. The hotel and rooms, make a valiant hotel at being arty, but fall quite miserably and spectacularly . The bathrooms are tiny, on the days that we stayed, room service failed to turn up. The breakfast starts late, at 8 pm, which is pretty late for most. Th breakfast is standard , I guess by European standards , I would fail to give anything higher than 4 on a 10 scale. The location is perhaps the only saving grace . This could have been such wonderful hotel, sadly, it seems to be resting on imagined laurels

This is a pretentious hotel. Highly avoidable

Rooms: They were not clean at all. In the bathroom there were still hairs from the previous guest, in the drawer some garbage and the remote control was also missing...
Parking: The host is not able to send the correct location via E-Mail or WhatsApp. First we thought it is only with us but we realized that also other guest had the same problem. Furthermore we left us waiting for more than twenty minutes.....after that time we decided to walk with all our stuff.....finally we came there and the host was just chitchatting with some other ones and completely forgot us.
Recommendations: We asked the host if we knows a nice place for dinner next to the sea. When we got there.....it was a restaurant next to a constructions site. So we left again.....
The location is good,,,but that is the only thing....
