11 reviewsWe’ve just returned from Dubrovnik for a wedding and we stayed here for 7 nights. We have never felt more welcome anywhere! We had the studio flat on the lower ground. It was very nice and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. The apartment was very clean and tidy, there were plenty of pans, plates and cutlery for when we cooked a few times and the bathroom was nice. The shower looked brand new and there was a table outside which was nice to sit at in the morning with coffee. And there was a fridge, kettle and a hob. Also available was plenty of towels and toilet paper (unusual for self catering). The bed was comfy, the air conditioning was good when you’ve had a hot day exploring or sunbathing. There was a good hairdryer in the room too. Also the lady (I think maybe Paulina’s mum) brought us freshly picked grapes one day which was lovely :) Paulina checked us in, she is lovely and so helpful and full of local knowledge of where to go. As we had never been to Dubrovnik we felt so lucky to have all this information. The apartments are very close to several beaches Lapad, Copacabana and Solitudo. There is also a supermarket, bars and restaurants very close by too. And a nice bakery and a pharmacy if required. There is a bus stop literally outside if you would like to go to The Old City. It was 15 kuna each way (£2) and doesn’t take long at all. You can arrange transport via the apartment from the airport. (Definitely do this!) Nino, our driver is so great, and was waiting there when we exited baggage collection with a sign and drove us to the front door of our apartment in a lovely air conditioned car. Nino also drove us up to Mount Srd for a great price (if you’re scared of heights like me and don’t fancy the cable car) the views were breathtaking...Highly recommend at sunset. Overall a really enjoyable stay, value for money and we would definitely return! Paulina, Ivan, Ana and family thank you so much again for an amazing week at your lovely home!!!
