Apartments Antonela

Out of old city, but easy access there by bus 6. Only a five minute walk from apartment. We were greeted on arrival by Toni and renata who were very polite and more than helpful. They had welcome drinks with us in the patio with figs. They walked us to the promenade to show us a few places, showed us the bus stop, post office and then joined us for dinner at one of their local eateries. Very pleasant couple who truly show their guests EXCELLENT hospitality. They were helpful and explained things about Dubrovnik very well as they know history of it all. We had the smaller room with a double bed. It was a harder firm mattress,but comfortable. A/c worked fabulously. Bathroom water was Always hot for shower. It was odd to not have a curtain and the shower head mounted quite low, but we made it work. Could be improved. We had a small kitchen with stove, fridge and a washing machine. Wasn't overly impressed with the washing machine and how it still left a powder residue on some clothes. They allowed us to hang dry a few items on the terrace. We were also able to store our bags in the room while we went to the nearby beach that morning and had a late afternoon bus. A very sweet couple, truly looking to do the right thing. Would stay again and they will treat you with care and love.
