As I write now, I am actually staying at this hotel. 
I find the services impeccable and very very professional. The quality of rooms is very good, the elaborate breakfast menu is very nice and the front desk is very helpful.
I could not find any critical comment except that they should put up more signboards in ENGLISH language - else everything is fine.

GREAT HOTEL ...A DELIGHT FOR BUSINESS TRAVELLERS LIKE US

Went over to this hotel a couple of times, and without fail, they lived up to Standards which could put it up there with any hotels in China itself.

To get there: From Xiamen Airport, there are 2 modes of transportation to get to this Hotel.

By Car, the trip would take about 1hours. You would have to tell the Taxi Driver Zhangzhou Gang" and please note that they have named the area " Zhangzhou Development Zone". The cost of the ride will be about RMB 300.

By Ferry, the trip takes about 30minutes maximum, from a ferry terminal about 15minutes drive from the Airport.

The hotel itself is rated as 4 Star hotel, but i believe, it could put alot of 5 Star hotels to shame. Staff are attentive and helpful, without making it seem that they are trying too hard. Housekeeping are actually done twice a day, of which once is in the morning, and another in the evening if you require, which they will go door by door for the services.

After a couple of visits,  it somehow feels like a big family welcoming you back, remembering your room & necessities preferences.

Breakfast is a big buffet of Western & Chinese Fujian Cuisine which is provided with every night stay for free. 

Place is amazingly quiet, which is great for a couple of days relaxation without the hassle of a city area. Though the area looks deserted, ask the hotel staff for those tiny little secret necessitiy areas, and you will be pleasantly surprise.

Chinese speaking would however be very advantageous, but they do speak English as well.

A Well Hidden Gem

Ate lunch here during a business trip. 
Buffet style self service. A range of hot a cold dishes.
Mutton and cumin was the stand out dish and is worth trying.
There are not any other options when it comes to dining in this area.
Staff were attentive but not in your face.
This place is an older building and is getting a little tired.
