I recently stayed at The Wall in with 3 of my friends, and all of us had a great stay, and a awesome time in the city. As soon as we arrived, the hotel owner made us feel right at home. He's a great guy, and throughout the week he gave us recommendations on where to go and what to do, as well as answering any questions we had. He was very informed! The place itself is beautiful. The furnishings on the inside are very nice and appropriate, and the flowers and the garden is a beautiful sight to see when you walk out in the morning :) Even though the hotel was great, the location was even better. Nobody goes on vacation to stay inside the hotel room, and with all the activities near the hotel, we were never bored. We could go to the beach ( short 10 minute walk), and then comeback change, and go to the Xiamen University, which was only a 15 minute bus ride away. We also visited many other places such as Southern putuo temple, and Gulangyu Island, as well as many others because they were so conveniently placed! Overall, it was a awesome experience and i highly recommend it to anyone!

Very enjoyable stay

This was our second visit to Xiamen, we are very happy to have picked the Wall Inn. When we first saw the hotel, it was so beautiful. There's a yard full of different flowers and plants and getting up every morning with such a delightful view makes your day.  The room is very well furnished with nice designs with plenty of space and was very clean. The beds are and comfortable to sleep on which is hard to find in an Inn. The best part of the hotel is they provide pickup services, It's very convenient if you're touring around the area. The owner is friendly and be more than happy to assist guests. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one.

Great hotel and location

to be honest i didn't expect too much before i came,  but it turns out i have made my best choice of staying here.
the hostel is simple but clean, most importantly the onwer is of great hospitality and can provide whatever help guest needs which to me helps a lot. hostel is within ten minutes walk to beach, and direct city bus to major tourist sites like Gulang Island, Xiamen University and so on, also it provides private car servies which can take you to some comparatively further sites like Tulou, the price is also reasonable.
unlike many other hostels in China, the owner speaks very good english which makes our communication no problem, therefore i received many useful local travelling tips from him, i really appreciate.
i think i would spend more time here if next time i come.

Perfect place to explore and experience

We recently stayed at the Wall Inn in a twin room on the 4th floor, and were very happy with our experience! The inn is tucked into a side street in the Tatou village, and is quiet and clean. The hotel owner is warm and friendly, and was helpful with our heavy luggage (up 4 flights of stairs), as well as taking us to the neighborhood street where the markets and eateries were located. 

It is simple accommodations, but the AC worked great in our room, and the location and friendliness of the owner and neighbors made our stay great! They have a reasonably priced pick-up and drop-off service which is helpful the first time - as the inn is hard to find if you haven't yet been there. 

We cant wait to come back!

Wonderful Inn, Great Owner!

The Wall Inn provides a good base to explore Xiamen and its environment. Good price quality balance. The hotel gives access by buses to the old center and the island Gulangyu.
Owner/manager Wang is a very good and pleasant host to help you with information.
