I stayed here for a conference and can firstly say the conference amenities were very nice. The hotel is not in the prettiest spot in Tianjin but is convenient for restaurants and has a subway stop right across the road. It's also walking distance from several of the big attractions in Tianjin. Checking in in English was a little problematic but we got there eventually and it is China after all, they're not obliged and I appreciated the effort! 

I had a deluxe queen room and although a little older it was very comfortable and spacious. The value is also excellent, I had breakfast included for just over £40 per night. In comparison I paid double in Beijing, got no breakfast, the room was half the size and the bed was terrible. Not so here, very comfy bed, nice bathroom, a desk to work at and  sofa. I used the restaurant for breakfast and two lunches as that was part of the conference. It is very traditionally Chinese but also they will set up a hotpot for you and you can help yourself.

On a last note, I was really struggling to get back to Beijing for my flight as the trains were all full and the rains had came down. The two young guys at the concierge desk spent ages getting me a taxi to take me all the way and then wouldn't even take a tip. All in all, this hotel does so much that bigger, more glamorous hotels don't. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Older but makes up for it in charm, comfort and friendliness

I have been stayed this hotel many times for business with good price and reasonable facilities. 

As I know it is not far from airport around 20 min. Also our customets are in TEDA area and you could take several roads to customers. 

Also it is near to various famous places of Tianjin such as Eye of Tianjin, Fifth Ave and oriental markets.

Stay at center of Tianjin

I have stayed this hotel several times for business trip of Tianjin customers, and in this week I stay 4 days.

Room is quite big snd clean even though it is more than 10 years old. Especially bed is good & firm with  cleam sheet and good pillows for good sleep.

Breakfast is good, but for western people it needs improvement. Orange juice is not real Orange juice made with powder. Breads are quite different in styles not much fresh. It needs more fruits in morning also. The breakfast table and seats are comfortable but are too big for breakfast sometimes.
  
Overally for me it is ok because I am Asian people, and I am accustomed this culture much. Anyway it is good hotel to stay.

Business stay at Tianjin

The hotel is a little far from the train station.
The buffet is great with lots of variety, however they really need to improve their service and cleanliness
The rooms had new linen, were quiet bathrooms had a see through window which was a little "different"

Excellent variety, Okay rooms

This hotel is good location in tianjin and i was just one night in this hotel the room is very big and clean and the breakfast is not bad but mostly of breakfast was Chinese food
Reception of hotel was very warm but they didn't speak English just one man can help me for anything 
And they didn't exchange money in this hotel you just going to the bank and exchange it.

Good location 

The space in the hotel room is splendid. Hotel is kinda of run down after so many years of operation. Overall, still have the comfort of stay at this pricing. Surrounding many eateries. Breakfast at the hotel was great disappointment, the variety was not splendid for this value, do reconsider. Beside have Mac donald and local delicacy which serves much better and nice food to choose from.

Space its what you get

The hotel is rather old, the maintenance is not that great.  The only value I enjoy is good location, not far away from airport, easy access to restaurant and also some tourism sports, 古文化街, 天津之眼, 意式風情街.
