Hezhou International Hotel

This hotel would probably suit local travelers more. The beds are the typically hard variety and the buffet breakfast offers a mostly local selection of ample variety. Having said that, it is not expensive and offers good cleanliness and room size with good wifi speed and coverage. One complaint would be that it didn’t seem possible to adjust aircon temperatures in-room and it became a little stuffy. There was one unusual gadget which was an electronic fast drying cabinet which allows you to hang a few shirts and this worked wonderfully, so kudos for this extra. If you happen to be up around 8am, you can see some staff assemble at the hotel grounds for their simple flag raising ceremony. Ask for a room with a view of the mountains. Decent value.
