Shenghua Hotel - Chengde

I recommend this hotel to you if you like a spacious, clean room, a rich breakfast, and endless amenities it provides. You would definitely enjoy the quality of your hotel stay. You would also enjoy the convenience of going almost anywhere in town. The Imperial Summer Resort, the city center, the river view, and the railway station are all in a walking distance. You might get a better deal if you book your hotel room online. With this discount price ($46 for my standard room with two beds vs. $150 at hotel desk), be reasonable about the friendliness of the staff, the upgrades of your hotel room (the restroom door can't be closed), and just enjoy what I mentioned above. One more thing: be sure to cash out your deposit receipt (¥200）before your departure; the hotel does not take your credit card for your possible small expenses when you check in.
