96 reviewsWe needed to find a nice sit down place for supper. The crab market had been done already twice so we drove around town a bit before stopping in at the Rock Royal's restaurant. We were the only vehicle in the parking lot and the only people in the restaurant. We took a huge round table closest to the ocean. The server was very helpful as we made our choices. The dishes were very reasonably priced so we got some seafood fried rice, vermicelli salad, roasted pork ribs, and a lime soup with chicken. I must admit it took a while to prepare, but the chef was out on the beach doing a BBQ for a large group. Still they managed to get our dishes served nice and hot from the kitchen. Our server girl was quick to get us cool beers and allowed us to drink our own water (even asked if we wanted glasses of ice). She also catered to our whims and brought us fresh cut chilies and lime wedges. We found the food very tasty - each dish having a unique flavor. Often the dishes all taste the same. When we paid the bill we reckoned that a good feed like that for less than $30 for the four of us was a very good deal.
