Less than 20 lev £9 or €10 each for starter, mains and desert plus drinks. Highlights were nettle and ricotta pate, stuffed cabbage leaves, kebab, trout, and the chocolate salami. Home made elderflower and raspberry cordials were great cooling drinks. Gentle flowing stream 

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved our time here. The setting is extremely picturesque with glorious views in every direction. We were fed delicious, home-made, organic food and the hosts were happy to accommodate for a vegetarian diet. We had lots of questions about walking nearby and the staff were very helpful with planning a suitable itinerary and even gave us lifts as we didn't have a car. We felt that the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and make our stay an absolute pleasure. We'd love to come back!

Pigs trotter, trout, various salads, home made sausage, mash, fries with cheese, cheese selection, elderflower and strawberry presse, all home made. Cake for desert. Kids played in water and petted the small menagerie. We sat in shade under hazelnut tree, glared at by a large cat who was trying to intimidate us into handing over food.

Food great, cheap. Views and ambience priceless.

Great home made fruit presse drinks. The Peach purée and ice cream is to die for. Moussaka was good, sausage great. There were 4 children with us. Lots of space to run, play ball, explore. Outside country eating at its best. All organic, most produced on site

Wanted to try Bulgarian traditional rather than tourist manufactured.

This place is down a rough track in the country side. There is accommodation, an organic shop and a restaurant.

Booking proved a bit hit and miss. Mainly our fault because we have no Bulgarian. Some e-mails were ignored. We called early on the day and confirmed.

It was a buffet, all locally produced, organic and tasty. It was only labelled in Cyrillic, so I've no idea.

Lots of family groups, kids, grannies. Plus a good local trio, kettle drum, pipe and accordion. Fun. Enjoyable. Nice to be included.

The home made fruit juices and punches were colourful and refreshing.

Unfortunately my partner fell ill and we left early. 

We could have done with going with a bigger group, Bulgarian speaking. 

The local city Bansko is primarily reserved for ski-season tourist. However the countryside and the mountains are a visit worth in the summer as well. So if your not in to discotheques and cheap food, this is an awesome retreat I would recommend families, hikers or couples for a nice weekend in a beautiful and friendly environment. I've visited the place twice in two years. The family that runs the Bio-hostel is great hosts, the food is great as well the wine, served with personality. You get to know the staff, as they take an honour in knowing their guests, as this is an independent service.
Price for a stay inclusive all meals and regular service is not low for Bulgarian standards - however the experience and quality of the food is.

Cozy retreat near Bansko, great food and service!

There were stains on the bed, no soap in the bathroom, all over spiders and spider webs, swallows were pooping on the window and it wasn't cleaned, the shower head was barely standing on a screw. In another apartment there was a power issue and they were able even to iron clothes. Some people were forced to sleep on the floor as there weren't enough beds.
The staff was responsive and overall good.
