We had a meal at Nelly restaurant , stuffed mushrooms barely cooked and watery mess. English salad the bacon was just lumps of fat. Pizza burnt on the bottom , uncooked dough on top and topping in the middle unmelted cheese and watery soggy mess. We sat outside opposite the show kitchen, both chefs had no protective kitchen clothing at all just their outside clothes which were very dirty, they had the same clothes on the next night when we went past. No hair coverings or gloves. I saw one chef sneeze into his hands, not wash them then proceed to get a foil dish of food from the fridge and sneeze again into that! If your going to have to have a show kitchen at least have clean staff and a clean kitchen! Needless to say we didn't eat our disgusting meal, complained, the waitress kept apologising, she was embarrassed I think but used to getting complaints, nothing was done. We paid the bill and left never to return! 

Worst meal in Ravda!

The lovely people from hotel Nelly will deffinetly take good care of you! The staff is very friendly and caring, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is amaaazing! Deffinetly coming back here again

Best place to stay in Ravda!

BAD!!! Came to Ravda because it is a beautiful village. Stayed at Nelly’s. Felt like I was back in the 80’s.Decor is still stuck there!!! The old man with white hair that we met on the first night was so rude so the next day at lunch I couldn’t believe that he was the manager. He shouted at my two children to be quite. There was only one other table sitting for lunch on the Main Street. I thought that he would of appreciate it us beeing there as the restaurant was empty and we were staying in the guest house.We will never eat there again. Unfortunately we have to stay in this guest house as we have booked for a holiday. One evening we stopped for drinks and our bill was definitely overcharged. They were so rude when we raised the issue. I don’t know who was more rude and aggressive-the old lady with shoulder length black hair or the middle age man (I think he is their son). I do not advise anybody to eat or stay here.Ravda is wonderful but do not go to Nelly’s

Experience

I had never had guest house stay experience before this. It was a nightmare. First the owner’s wife tried to trick me, she wanted me to pay more money than I had in my confirmation. After I shown her my printed confirmation, she said they had different euro-bulgarian lev exchange rate. BUT this exchange rate is stable, it doesn’t change from day to day.
After I saw bedclothes, it was of dark brown colour, and had a clothesline mark, seems that they don’t iron their bedclothes.
Furniture is very old, there’s dust everywhere. Cleaning is very bad. Sink is very small, shower is hanging above the toilet.
Owners are very rude and unfriendly.
The food at their restaurant is very expensive and not tasty at all.
The way to the sea is long and non-comfortable, you have to walk along some fences and construction.  
The sea is dirty, with much seaweed and beach is very small.
People, that loved to drink alcohol, living in a next room were very welcomed by the hotel owners and they thanked the owners very much on their departure.
If you like to drink much alcohol, you’ll feel fine at this hotel. But if you care about bedclothes cleanliness and comfort, you’d better stay away from this place.
