Stayed at Belmont Apartments, this has to be the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. Reception and staff pleasant on arrival, however on reaching room 511, the room was very warm and pleasant, these however were the only positive points. Curtains on all windows ripped and hanging off tracks. Crockery chipped and not sufficient quantity to cater for number of people in party. Sofa was broken and was stinking unable to sit on this, bless anyone who had to sleep on this! Under beds and wardrobes had never been swept or mopped, I discovered a used condom after dropping mascara! Bathroom had plentiful supply of hot water however the smell from the drains was horrendous - under no circumstances would I recommend these apartments for people to stay and to describe as budget far superior places were not much dearer, basic or budget cleanliness should never be compromised!

I'm literally writing this from Sofia Airport having left the Belmont where I stayed for a week. As previously stated by a lot of reviews, this is a cheap budget hotel and is ideal for a low cost ski trip.

I was very pleased when I arrived and was warmly welcomed. I was given a ground floor one bedroom apartment (see attached pictures). The apartment was warm and cosy, had a powerful hot shower and everything that I needed to cook for myself for the week. There was no kettle when I arrived, and within minutes of mentioning this to reception staff, one was brought to my room. The only complaint I would have (if I was in a larger party) is that there was literally one knife, fork and spoon - however, I'm sure this would be easily rectified by staff if necessary.

There is a few shuttle bus provided from the hotel to the Gondola. I used it once on the first day to get my baring, after that I walked down and back (approx 10 mins, easy walk with no hills). Can't comment on the offer facilities in the hotel (pool, sauna) as I didn't use them. But the lovely receptionist arranged for a "spa evening" for me in a local hotel where return transport, full body massage, face mask and Turkish bath was provided for 100BGN - highly recommend asking about this.

There is a supermarket right beside the hotel, which is convenient but the staff literally follow you up and down the aisles which I found disconcerting.

If I was coming back to Bansko, I'd definitely stay here again. 

Friendly and welcoming staff 

We came with our 2 children, aged 5 and 2. We were recieved so warmly, given help with such wormth and smile. Made me want to invite the staff to dinner at our place. Thank you Eva, Pyetia and Ganjo!!!. The swimming pool is great and also the playroom for kids. 💜

Needed a Cheap CHEAP ski holiday so we did our research and decided on Bansko and Belmont

The Mountain is absolutely stunning and Beautiful-good for any level of skier and none skiers can go up on the gondola and lifts too, they can even get to the very top of the mountain so can join for lunch and enjoy all the scenery etc as us skiers do. 

We went up the mountain between 09.30-10.00 to assist with queues, weekend queues can be bigger.

The Town has everything you need and more. We purchased two ski jackets in the Sale which are top quality and half the price of what we would have paid back home(they know what they are doing with Ski Gear out there)ah bet these jackets last 20years....

Belmont-accommodation was basic but-clean-warm and friendly. We had a studio-plus, which had a bonus small bedroom with a nice large double bed(ok half the Apartments living room had sloped ceilings due to being on the top floor but were not the tallest and actually this created a few giggles over the week. Belmont is just a nice little stroll away from both the Gondola and centre of the resort and If we needed anything(i.e. we needed extra cutlery and our kettle swapping)we just asked the Day Staff and it was sorted....  sure, some would expect perfection from the get go But for what we paid we were chuffed and after all we knew that we were no where near paying top prices.... 

Going again at some stage....

Tight Budget

Fab time apartments ok clean and friendly staff ,swimming pool ok and very relaxing after a day on slopes .bit weird to have to go up in lift to 6 floor to go to steam room and sauna (as pool is ground floor ) but still ok .
Overall if it just a room for the week to get you head in between going out .good place to stop
