We stayed few days in the "Way2go" Hostel just right by the Lake!!! 

It´s an perfect location for every kind of needs of Backpackers. You have a huge vegetable shop (excellent for vegetarians), a supermarket and pharmacy just in front. A very nice Mexican-Restaurant next to and just 1 minute to walk to the main square, where you can find every weekends a nice handycraft market with local and organice products, capuera presentation and samba Bands playing. 
All the Bars and Clubs are arround by the square, so if you drank to much "cachaca" you don´t need to be worried - your bed will be not far away. 
Just 5 minutes walking in the other direcion you will get to the neighborhood of the local people and find nice places to rest and meet brasiliens!!!

The Way2go Hostel is not a "party-hostel" which is good because you will find a lot of opportunities to party, but if you really want to sleep and rest the Hostel is giving you the space and atmosphere for it. Nevertheless there will be everytime somebody, who makes an atmosphere for going out or just playing guitar and singing!

Besides they have a lot of Tour offers to discover the Island, sport activities like Stand-Up-Pedal, Surfboards, Kayaks and even bikes - for sure you will not get bored in this place! 

The people, who work there are really friendly, open-minded and attentive!!!
The rooms are really clean (everyday cleaning), some of them have a private bathroom, a big kitchen, a Chill-Out area (inside and outside) and a parking place (for those, who come with a car), 

We really can recommend this place because it has everything what you need and the most important thing  - an fantastic atmosphere !!!!

My days in the way2to Hostel were incredible!!!
Such a nice place located in the center and just right by the lake. It is a really clean hostel, everything is so close by and they offer a lot of sport activities and Tours. 

But what I liked most is the incredible atmosphere of the stuff!

They are so so friendly, willing to help out with everything and for every fun thing open!!! 

I had an amazing time there and for sure one day I will be back!!!!

Really great place with amazing people!!!

It was my first time there and I stayed almost a month!! 
The place is excellently localized away from city center not so interesting and by the amazing lake and Lagoa center full of life.
The staff was extremely enthusiast, helpful and full of energy for activities.

It is almost like a familial place, where people share experiences, cook together and so on.

Last but not least the hostel provided with good bedding.

I am not much of a comment writer, but after this experience it was a MUST:+) 

Don't look further if you come to Ilha da Magia!

Really nice place, clean, well managed by Gustavo who is there to help you if you need anything, informations, advices on what to see, what to do... Good place to meet people, there's a nice family ambiance between travellers and also the staff of Way2Go. It could harldly  be better placed as you are in the middle of Lagoa de Concecao, near from the dunes, the beach and also the trail of Costa do lagoa which also is really nice to do. I definitely recommand!

Buena onda en Way2go!

I heard that it should be a great hostel but it wasn't that good-because it's another owner now from what I heard. The staff was very friendly but the hostel itself was ok but not so good as I read in the comments.
