Hotel Cabanas Paradise

A hotel that can carry the name Paradise with pride. During all my travels around the world i have never felt more welcome any place. A small but lovely hotel with a beautiful atmosphere, fantastic food, great staff, good beds and even a swimming pool. This place is highly recommended to everybody from backpackers to guests who just want a recreational vacation. Thanks to Cabanas Paradise for 3 fantastic days. Going to Chulumani, this is defently the place to stay!

We had a lovely stay here thanks to the friendly hosts Lucia, Ramiro and Paul. Beautiful surroundings, easy walk into town, nice rooms. It was a pleasure to be able to get meals whenever we wanted and we felt very welcome. The pool was very pleasant too. We had a new baby with us and he was catered for with a comfy couch pulled up to our table for meals.

Hotel Cabanas Paradise. Such a beautiful place in Chulumani. We enjoyed our stay. Excellent food. Beautiful place. Totally recommend it. If you are in Bolivia, you've got to go to Chulumani and visit this place.

A five minute walk from dusty Chulumani a grand, old estate set in the forest. A standard breakfast included. Roofed pavilion for movies and t.v. Large, slightly tired swimming pool. Proprietor can provide very tasty meals if requested.

We spent a nice couple of days in this quiet place located a few minutes walking from the center. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and water is not.Restaurant is also very good and the swimming pool is a good place to relax after a walking day.
The owners are very friendly and will explain you everything you need to make you need to discover the fantastic area (so many hikes you can do to waterfalls, primary forest, birdwatching, coca plantations...).
A very nice alternative to Coroico's crowded and expansive hostels.

Lovely place to stay in Chulumani

Awesome hotel in Chulumani - Sud Yungas, La Paz - Bolivia

A low-mid budget stay in Chulumani

Nice relaxing place in Yungas heart

It is definitely one of the best options in Chulumani, but there is much room for improovment. We should have tv, dvd and equipped kitchen bot none of this was in the room. We had dificulties with hot shower and also with toilet. Ramiro (owner) is great and kind person but maybe because of his personal situation he doesnt give his best to this place right now. There is so much work on this hotel and its garden. Place definitely has got its potential but need much more attention.

Chulumani's top but certainly not the best nor fantastic!

I wish I had taken pictures but we took one look at how awful the place was and left for another hotel. It looked like a meth house. The pool was completely filthy green and Ramiro was nothing short of nasty. Thank goodness there was a rental house available nearby because there was no way I was going to let my children spend even an hour there. Terrible.
