Hotel La Roseraie

From booking to checking-out, the willingness to making sure the guest is comfortable and satisfied is impeccable! Originally booked through a booking website, the subsequent stay was booked directly, which resulted in overall better value for money. Natalie and Yvette were fantastic hosts - making sure every aspect was communicated via email and during our stay. Due to certain requirements, they went beyond our expectations to make sure we had the best room for our needs and a most comfortable stay. Two separate bookings in different rooms. Both were immaculately maintained and nicely themed. Laila, in housekeeping is most attentive, making sure rooms are reset to perfect order. Also being mindful of personal effects, by placing them away from harms way. The room's welcome book states that water (from the mini-bar) is complimentary on the first day of one's stay. A very nice touch. Beds are very comfortable, and bedding is clean. Both room we stayed in had A/C units. I believe this is the same throughout. Those with mobility issues may want to book a room on or close to the ground floor, as there are no elevators. Ground floor rooms near reception are suites, which are perfectly maintained! Located very close to the highway, anyone driving will find La Roseraie very easily, and is perfectly placed to get into and around Brussels. With forecourt parking included through direct bookings, it made perfect sense to book here. You will find plenty of street parking, on all roads radiating from the roundabout. Busses to Brussels centre run regularly, and can be caught almost at the doorstep. The nearest Metro station is a 10-15 minute walk, and a stop away from the Atomium landmark/attraction. Grand-Place is around 15-20 minutes away, including a change at Beekant Metro station. Unfortunately, we didn't give ourselves the opportunity to take breakfast or any meals at the renowned restaurant linked to the hotel. A number of restaurants and takeaways are nearby - within walking distance. The bakery across the road may look like it's in business, but unfortunately, it's not. The snack bar opposite caters for those on-the-go. A couple of supermarkets are nearby. Lidl is a short drive away, as is Carrefour. Don't waste your time or money at the nearby Louise Delhaize, at the Texaco station - prices are too high and some items not as fresh as you might think! Having read other reviews, it's clear that La Roseraie is consistent in its service and attention to guest satisfaction. Overall, I have nothing but complete praise for the services, facilities and more importantly the staff at La Roseraie. Would I book again? ABSOLUTELY, AND IN AN INSTANT!
