Our room had been nicely renovated; the room was very nice with a great bathroom and plenty of room. But there was a bit of street noise due to passing traffic so I guess a room not on the main road would be better.

Nice room

We visited the Caves of Han and wanted a place to sleep close by. 
We looked online for a last minute place to stay.
Hotel La Fayette had availability and was not ridiculously priced (as were most others).
We did not expect much. 
We pulled up to the hotel, it looked quite nice, the reception /  restaurant looks quirky in a antiques shop kinda way.
We went up to our rooms (1 for a couple and 1 for 2 friends / separate beds) and the surprise when we opened the doors!!
The rooms were absolutely lovely. Well decorated in a modern decor, clean and very comfortable.

A really nice surprise at the end of a full day. I would definitely stay again if I was in that area.

Surprise in Rochefort

Stayed for one night in room number three - nice for families up to four people. Very nice room and shower. Only a short walk from the centre of the town. Breakfast was very cheap compared to the amount of food and the service was very good. Would definetely stay there again.

Nice hotel and excellent breakfast

We stopped in this hotel for one night whilst on a motorcycle trip down to Italy.  Our room was large and spotless, clearly recently decorated and in good condition.  It was quite hot when we were there and there was no air con, but we knew this when we booked so can't really complain.  Also the stairs to the room were quite steep with no lift access.

The staff were friendly and helpful.  We didn't have breakfast there so really can't comment on that.

The hotel has a garage where you could store a motorcycle or cycle.  

The town itself is lovely, plenty of places to eat or grab a beer after a days traveling.  All within a short walk.

I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel

We were pleasantly surprised by this lovely old hotel.A short walk into the town where there are plenty of restaurants. Our room at the back was quiet with no view, but it was only for one night so didn't bother us. The room was lovely and nicely decorated. It had everything for a stop over with lots of parking.Breakfast was simple but adequate.Would recommend for an overnight stay. The stairs are steep and would be difficult if you have mobility problems.Ask for a room on a lower floor. Rochefort  is a lovely town.
