Early march visit and we arrived late so the place was quiet. We found our room, and the facility in general, does not have wifi. What could have been disappointing was one of the best nights of our trip. Without the ease of connection we were "compelled" to spend more time discussing our trip so far, talk about plans, and, worst of all were forced to spend 3 hours in the restaurant getting personalized attention and experiencing one of the best meals we've ever had. 
The facilities are quite comfortable and clean, There was no shower in our room but no matter. Breakfast was superb. The conversations throughout were enjoyable. Great hospitality.
I don't know when we will ever travel that road again but Le Chateau will definitely be on our itinerary.

A place to get away

the outside is great and has the wow factor especially the gardens but thats where it end
the check in was ok then went to the large double room and thats where it all went wrong
we paid for deluxe and soon found out there was no fridge no water,tea,coffee,or even a kettle
the bathoom had no shower screen and a shower that did not function and a very deep bath that was not easy to get in and out
the bedroom has lots of blood stains on the walls and ceilings where people have been killing what ever the insects were and they had not been cleaned 
breakfast was ok a bit strange as the coffee came in a large style canteen themos and the usual foods for a continental breakfast while the owner watched that nobody left the resto with any food
i would recommend a visit to the outside and the surrounding park areas but not to stay an evening

the outside is great

We stayed for one night and liked the calmness, the park, the outside. Inside and service marginal. Our room without fridge nor drinks nor cooker was ok but not at all chateau-like. No shower. Breakfast average, bread good, warmed over coffer bad.

Chateau? En Vaine

I went to Belgium to visit family and traveled to Luxembourg for the day and spent a night at here at the Chateau. My sister made our reservations and I had no idea where we were going. It was dark and we wandered the countryside searching and feeling like we were going in the wrong direction. Finally we came to our destination and I was so amazed to see this beautiful Chateau in the middle of nowhere. We checked in and got to our rooms, which were basic and spartan but clean. Bathroom spacious and a nice whirlpool tub.We were starving from travel and headed down to the "Caves" restaurant in the lower level of the Chateau. It is a 2 Michelin star rate so I had high expectations. We were greeted by the Innkeeper who looked like he was just meant to be there. Dressed in his long green apron and very attentive to each any every customer. We ordered the set menu with unlimited wine service. My first course was an assortment of cured meats, pate, stewed onion and breads. Delicious! Second course was the tenderloin of wild boar which was bleeding all over my plate and it's appearance looked as though it was fished out of the toilet. I had to ask for it to be cooked further. My companions meals were very much to their satisfaction. Dessert was a mouse and it looked beautiful on my plate and tasted quite nice. The Innkeeper kept the wine flowing and we did meet people at our next table who we ended up sharing a drink with at the end of the night. We stayed and laughed until about 1 in the morning. I ordered a special coffee which our host did a grande display of preparing and presenting to us at the table. Finally we called it a night, we were never made to feel as though we over extended our welcome.
Breakfast was usual fair of eggs, meats, breads and cheeses. Coffee was good as well as the fresh juices. Over all my stay was lovely. Reasonable priced but my main course was a disappointment. I would recommend as it is a lovely setting and hosts are welcoming and pleasant.

Beautiful Little Gem

Fantastic place to stay. Very large bedroom and bathroom. Unbelievably friendly owner and his wife. Gastronomical restaurant. As well hotel as restaurant are great value for money. Delicious meal (menu) and also very nice breakfast (plenty of everything). Very posh environment but absolutely simple owners. That made is so nice for us. Very clean (hotel, room, bathroom). Gardens are gorgeous and so well kept. If you have not stayed there you have missed something great.
