B&B Galanthus

From the moment you step inside it is clear that the owners take pride in owning a B&B that is very individual and full of character. The place is full of antiques and is spotlessly clean. There are 3 bedrooms- one on the ground floor, one on the first floor and the final one in the eaves of the property. We had the double on the first floor. It was elegant and bright with lovely furnishings. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided as well as bathrobes. The bathroom was spacious and featured an antique bath- fantastic!. We were surprised to have a curtain leading to the bathroom rather than a door but this added to the quirkiness of the place. Breakfast was excellent- rolls, breads, cereals, fruit, yogurt, hams and cheeses etc. Creamy scrambled eggs and boiled eggs were also available.The jams tasted homemade and were delicious. There is plenty of free on road parking and the centre of Poperinge (a lovely place) is within easy walking distance. This is a really great place to stay and I'd recommend it. Please note that the B&B doesn't accept credit/debit cards.
