I stayed here for one night as attending a wedding in the area. Such a wonderful friendly welcome from the owner. Spacious well appointed bedroom with extra little features such as free mini bar. A perfect nights sleep in such a peaceful location. The highlight was the freshly prepared breakfast an excellent selection both hot and cold I could not have wished for more. All I can say is thank you and if I am ever back in area and need accommodation I certainly know where to stay. Really highly recommended.

I could not have wished for more, a fantastic location and welcome.

Didn’t want to stay in the heart of Brussels so found this wonderful B&B in a rural area just outside of Brussels and very close to the airport.  “But make sure you have a gps to find it.” Great room very spacious with everything you need.  Breakfast was one of the best B&B breakfast I’ve had. Freshly baked bread and eggs made to your request. Train station very close making it easy to get to the center of Brussels without the traffic nightmares and parking issues. We truly enjoyed touring around Belgium and coming home each night to this perfect peaceful and relaxing room.

Great B&B - Quiet Location 

I spent 3 nights here this weekend after staying last year at the same period. Why did I come back? There are so many reasons!
The first is the welcome, Luc & Isabelle run the B&B and did everything to make my stay a good one, and if they weren't available then their parents Michel & Hilde are just as welcoming. The whole place has a great family feel to it.
The second was the breakfast! I'm a big breakfast fan and I was not disappointed with croissants, pain au chocolats and many more pastries that I cannot name. Luc cooked eggs on the Saturday and Sunday, done to perfection. The bread was fresh and there were cheeses and dried meats too, I think I skipped lunch once or twice.
The third reason is the quality of the rooms. The bed was enormous, comfortable and the pillow soft.
The whole setting of the B&B is excellent and you're only 20 mins from the centre of Brussels. Enjoy!

Relaxation next to Brussels

I had spent the last weekend in this wonderful place and I can´t explain with words how good, confortable and pacefull this place is.7

It is located in the countryside, perfect to disconect and relax from work and busy cities.

The breakfast is amazing with all kind of delights, croissants, chocolate pastries, best cheese from region, tasty ham... Besides if you ask it, they will prepare a hot chocolate that it will amaze you.

The people is very friendly and helpful and always ready to advise you in anyway.

Besides that, there is a wine shop at the same place which is perfect to find a great selections of wines ( from Spain, France, Portugal, Italy...) and more.

I highly recommend to visit this B&B. 

Next year I will be back 100%, no doubt about it.

The best place to relax and disconnect

Nice place, feel like your in the middle of nowhere (which you are really) but only 20 mins from Brussels. Very quiet, in the countryside and within walking distance (10 mins) from the only restaurant I found. Comfortable room but quite basic. Free
Mini bar. Comfortable beds with clean nice smelling linens. No English tv which was a shame as I was ill in bed for one full day and had to watch my iPad tv. Wished their cable box had an hdmi cable as I would have been able to plug my iPad into the tv. Felt a bit crammed in the shower as it was a shower attachment over the bath so had to bed over to shower properly. Also would have been useful to have an iron and ironing board available either in the room or outside to be shared with the other 3 rooms on my floor. This place does a really fantastic job with their breakfasts! Personally services by the owner (I think he was), offering a full spread on the table when you arrive in the room and offered to cook eggs too! Very good. Friends were staying also at the Louis1924 nearby and said the breakfast at this b&b were a lot better than the Louis1924.

Very quaint

My son and I stayed at Onsemhoeve for 13 nights while staying in the Brussels area.  This is a unique and wonderful B&B with very well appointed and comfortable accommodation, very kind hosts and breakfasts you will remember! To us it became our home away from home and we were made to feel so welcome during our stay. 

The location is peaceful, tranquil and very picturesque, yet it is only a short drive or train ride to Brussels and other places near by. If you want a memorable stay where you are treated like friends rather than a room number in a hotel, this is the place to stay. We will be back as soon as we have another opportunity to visit Belgium! Thank you Isabelle, Luk, Michel and Hilda for looking after us and making us feel so welcome!
