Nice spacious room with very hot showers. The thing that really made it was the amazing view from the balcony in the room!

Breakfast had a great mix of European ham, cheese, and bread but also had good scrambled eggs and bacon - perfect prep for a day on the slopes! 

If you're able to go down a blue slope then you can ski to a point 50m above the hotel, and you can ski out from just outside the hotel in the morning.

Decent bar just above the hotel on the slopes, as well as a good apres bar just down the slope. Plenty of restaurants around so you don't need to go down to town. 

The owners were also very friendly. I requested an extra pillow via a note to housekeeping and they left one when they cleaned the room. They also organised a shuttle for is to town on our last day. Thank you for a great stay! 

Nice place to stay

... do I need to say more?
This is nice house in quiet location, clean and neat, with nice crew and almost direct access to ski lift. There is parking, ski room, wifi is working well and stable. A truly great location for ski holiday.

A cozy location in heart of ski-heaven ;)

I booked this for late August/early September as a base for a hiking trip into the surrounding mountains. I was not aware (in February) that a HUGE bicycle event takes place in Oetztal at the end of the summer. Every available space is taken for the weekend and when a big event is on, the ones in town fill up quickly. Haus Stefanie sits quite a bit above town, so driving down to town (and more importantly up!) is necessary, and it may not always be as busy.

My group traveled by train/bus/taxi to Soelden, and thereafter by foot! If you are planning to walk, beware, it is a stiff uphill walk in the evening!

Nevertheless, the hotel is simple yet charming. Clean and tidy throughout, we shared a room for three on the third level (second floor) and although there is no lift, the stairs were wide and carrying bags up was not hard. (Cyclists staying for the race even carried their bikes up). Beds were comfortable, the separate toilet with small sink and sink/shower in our room were efficient and modern. For three tall men, with backpacks, luggage etc we did not feel cramped. There was a balcony facing south for extra relaxation. In addition, a flat screen TV had British TV channels. 

Breakfast was very good! A selection of cereals, juices, breads, meats and cheeses is standard fare, as well as mixed fruit, fresh vegetables, preserves and yogurt. My favourite thing was a coffee machine offering everything from espresso to lattes, macchiatos at the touch of a button. During our stay we loved the fresh, hot scrambled eggs and boiled eggs too.

My group looks for comfort with some space, cleanliness, friendliness and a good meal to start the day. We got all of this at Haus Stefanie. They were kind enough to store our luggage while we spent five days in the mountains. The only drawback for us, being without a vehicle, was the uphill hike. But people in town hear more traffic and miss out on the fantastic view from Haus Stefanie!

Quiet location with a great view

We were late booking, but Haus Stefanie had rooms for us. We did not have any expectations, but what a nice place. We arrived very late, so the keys were laid out for us in the reception. Our first meeting with the staff was at breakfast, and what a great breakfast. Coming from Norway, we really are depending on a solid breakfast. Very welcoming staff and great food. Room was small, and not too new, but sleep quality was great. Location for skiing is good, as long as you have the skis ready and do not have to go down to rent. Ski in, ski out. You also need a car, or a cab if you want to do afterski downtown and also for going out on the town at night. Located a bit up the hill, it is quite a walk down. We stayed for only two nights, but we would have loved to stay longer.

Nice stay in Sölden

My son and I were too late to confirm a group reservation with a 4-star hotel down the road from from this B&B. All rooms where gone and we scrambled to find any place close to our friend's Hotel. Haus Stefanie was the answer. When you have your heart set on a 4-star all-inclusive hotel and have to settle for a three star B&B you are disheartened and critical. Nonetheless Haus Stefanie surprised me with great and friendly service. Breakfast options where very good (Continental) and the rooms where clean and adequate for the purposes. It is perfectly located in order to jump out of bed, put your skis on and ski or walk to the nearest lift.  (Thought the ski-in-and-out option is challenging with a small child since its unprepared mountainside)

Also if you don't have a car this place is too challenging. You would have to order a taxi everytime you wanted to go into town to get food or entertainment. There are one or two hotel restaurants within walking walking distance but you are a captive customer.... We didn't eat in any of these.
