Conveniently located less than 10 minutes walk from lifts, town and supermarket.  Spotlessly clean. Balconies front and rear with fabulous mountain views.  The host does not speak english, but could not be more helpful and quickly resolved our one issue after I used google translate on my phone. 
Pleasant surprise was that all BBC channels were available on the free cable TV (channel 100 upwards!).

Spotlessly clean and comfortable with fantastic views

A fabulous ‘no frills’ apartment. Spotlessly clean and well located for both the Penken and Ahorn lifts, which were both within easy walking distance. 
The apartment had all the basic requirements and two lovely balconies overlooking the mountain. There was also a boot and ski storage room available at no extra cost and WiFi was free on request.

Great

Stayed in a one-bed apartment for 7 days as part of a ski package. Was a joy to return home each evening after skiing! The bedroom was cosy, with a great view from the balcony. The kitchen/dining area had a slide door to separate it from the bedroom which we appreciated. Austrian decor in the hallways, boot warming racks in the basement, this place is set up perfectly. The walk to Penken with ski gear was manageable each day. Nice quiet neighbourhood.

Excellent accommodation, comfortable & clean

We had a great little apartment here for a week in summer. It's just the right size for 2 people and was immaculately clean. The lady owner is delightful but does not speak English, a little effort a understanding is easy enough though with this obliging and always smiling lady. There are at least 3 supermarkets within 5-10 minutes walk and plenty of restaurants too. The vies of the mountains and valley from our balcony were amazing.

Great Apartment

This is our second visit to Mayrhofen but first time staying in these apartments. We arrived quite late and were met by the owner who doesn't speak English so checking in was quite difficult ( this only became an issue on our departure day). The apartment was clean with a double bed, bathroom, some wardrobe space, a small kitchen/ lounge with a small 'sofa bed'. There is also a boot and board room in the cellar and the apartments are a 5-10 min walk to the gondola. No great queues but we were early most mornings (best to hit the slopes before the skiers carve it all up) the queues move quickly as the gondolas are quite large. Anyway, this is an apartment review, all was ok until our departure day. We were getting picked up at 1.15pm so we packed most of our stuff and decided to go for a last walk into town at 10am for some fresh air for an hour before returning to finish packing before pick up. We returned at 10.50 to find our half packed bags, snowboards, passports, toiletries, electronic items that had been plugged in charging, all dumped in the corridor outside our room! They had seen an opportunity to nip in and clean the room while we were out. Queue lots of angry gestures and no understanding English. The young girl cleaning spoke English and claimed we were told we had to be out of the room at 10am! When we checked in the owner explained nothing as she didn't speak English, no paperwork, nothing stating 10am. Lots of shoulder shrugging but no apology or consideration. We phoned the Crystal ski rep who in turn phoned the same girl cleaning who gave him the same crap, waste of time! We then had to drag our half packed bags and boards downstairs and outside where we tried to repack and locate our individual property as it had all been stuffed into each other's bags. We then sat outside the apartments with our bags until our pick up at 1.15pm. The rep was useless and the owner totally ignorant. A disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable trip. I will never return to these apartments as the way we were treated on our departure was a disgrace! We have made a separate complaint to Crystal Ski as leaving 3 guests sitting outside apartments with bags, no water or access to toilet for 2 hours is poor. Would recommend Mayrhofen as a resort but not the Alpenland apartments.

Snowboarding 2017

What could have been a perfect stay ended with a peremptory blame. 

In the middle of my stay I discovered that the plastic door of the tiny freezer compartment in the fridge was broken. No point trying to explain this to the owner as she does not speak English. Only on the checkout day (Saturday) when an English speaking lady comes to help with the cleaning, did I have a chance to show her the damage. I showed them the broken door and was accused of misusing the freezer (which I had not switched on at all) and charged €50 on the spot for a flimsy bit of plastic that may have been faulty to start with. I asked whether they were sure it was intact before I checked in, they said they did not inspect it, but they had to replace it just one month prior to that. Good business charging what's probably half the value of the fridge without any warning at the check-in that the silly piece of plastic is prone to snapping. Or indeed making sure it was not broken all along.

Otherwise it is a good quality accommodation in a renovated building, with all the necessities for a self-catered stay.
