Valschena Appartements

We have been the guests of the Schedler family for very many years in the former Hotel and now the Valschena Appartements. We feel as though we have come home when we arrive here such is the warmth of our welcome. We stayed in Apartment C which is lovely, as are all the apartments with a fantastic view down the valley to the Mottakopf. The accommodation is super clean, comfortable, warm and of a very high standard. Breakfast rolls are provided and there are two shops in the village where you can get essential supplies. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars to enjoy an evening meal. A nice thing to do once a week is to get the Panoramabahn across to the Frood restaurant in the evening, the snowy scenery is magical. The Tourist Office organised many activities during the week for your enjoyment. The Guest Card, as well as giving a wide range of discounted, enables you to travel on the Regional trains and use the public transport network, so you can pop down to Bludenz for both visits, onward transport of a wide choice of food and drink (Spar, Lidl and Aldi). As well as the excellent work done by the Brandnertal Bergbahnen on the ski slopes, there are lovely, well marked walks to go on. We unhesitatingly recommend this lovely accommodation and, surprise, surprise, we have booked for 2025.
