This old motel has had a total makeover and now has a beautiful tiled floor, pristine white bed linen and luxurious memory foam pillows.  I was warmly greeted on arrival and parking was plentiful.  There was quality tea and coffee available as well as fresh milk in the fridge.  The room had been given a burst of delightful air freshener.  The room rate is extremely reasonable given the quality of the establishment.

The lovely little gem of a motel.  The rooms look to have had an updating and were clean and neat.  The swimming pool and communal kitchen area were nice additions.  There was a coined guest laundry on-site.  Not right downtown by close enough to great restaurants and attraction.

Australia trip

Really needing some TLC. Bathroom clean and good hot water.  Bed comfortable however the bed linen very thin and blankets and bedspreads certainly could do with updating. Could say we felt they really are catering for tradies. Not really a fresh psoriatic in the room.

Clean room, comfy bed. Could do with more than 1 spare pillow though. 

Very quiet location even though was on the main road, we could not hear anything. Very quiet. Easy parking for trailers too. 

Great stay 

What a lovely little motel the room was spacious with lovely decorating touches.  Great smart TV- microwave- crockery and cutlery etc.   Bathroom was adequate with a nice hot shower.  Good spot to stay whilst wine tasting in the area. Francesca was very warm and welcoming at our last minute booking.

Lovely spacious well equipped room

It's so nice to find a motel with a quiet, warm room and a GREAT bed! Our host was friendly, helpful. The room was modern and clean - and big! The. motel is on the edge of town but only a few minutes drive to the centre.

We appreciated the location and comfortable amenities but had difficulty finding the motel in the dark as the motel's sign was not illuminated. Even though we used our GPS device to reach the motel, we could not see the sign at the front as it was not illuminated. It would have been OK if the sign was well lit.
The bathroom was a bit small and pokey but, otherwise, most facilities were as expected. It suited our short stay quite well and we would probably stay there again if the opportunity arose,

Staying here has been a pleasure. The staff accommodated to our demanding needs without hesitation. Wouldn't hesitate in staying here again. The rooms are clean and tidy, clean pool and ideal for sporting groups. 

Fantastic Service

After repeated attempts to book online on a malfunctioning website, we rang Mia Motel direct to book for the night from a few hundred miles away. Easy. And the motel was just fine at only $100 for this couple. Very clean. Good size room with wi fi air con etc Helpful, friendly staff.  Close enough to main part of town.  We're not young peeps so we've got about 100 years of 5 star to economy travel in most continents between us. We recommend Mia Motel as good value.

When booking websites malfunction ...

The room had four beds, two singles and a double. Only one of the single beds had an electric blanket. For a couple the room was too cluttered with beds. Furthermore, the beds were very soft. It would be good to have the window next to the door covered with a blind as there was strong light streaming through during the night. Bathroom was fine.
