The staff were so friendly and helpful doing everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable. 
Glass of wine on arrival which was so lovely.

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms.
The staff were very accomdating for our extended family group.
The longwood hotel and numerous coffe and takeaway shops were within easy waking distance.

Great sized rooms and everything else was great as well. Beer or glass of wine on arrival is complimentary. Handy location on the highway and friendly staff to greet you on arrival. Great option to go to the Pub one door down( The longyard Hotel) for dinner and charge it back to your room.

Great place to stay for a night or more.

Located right next to the golden guitar this is a popular and busy motel where we found friendly staff and a very spacious room. The complimentary drink on arrival was appreciated as were the free laundry facilities. Be aware though that it can be noisy particularly on a weekend. It is right up against a hotel where we encountered live music from their deck on both Sat night and Sun afternoon.

Popular for good reason

We stayed at this wonderful property for an overnight visit and found it to be extremely convenient.  Especially being next door to the Longyard Hotel . 
The beds and pillows were very comfy and the staff very friendly and helpful . 
If we were ever in Tamworth again we would definitely stay at The Golden Guitar.

Loved this place

We had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Guitar Motel in Tamworth. It was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our motel room was clean and comfortable and we had no disturbances from fellow guests. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. We were offered a free beverage upon arrival and as we arrived earlier than check in time, we were able to to check in early. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend.

Great location especially if you have sporting equine events.
Managers are very welcoming.  Rooms warm an cosy great hot showers which was needed at end of day. Pub next door has great food an entertainment would definitely book again.
Not far drive to main centre again great shops.

Great Location for sporting facilities 

Great stopover motel. Friendly greeting on arrival with complimentary beer and wine. Room was a good size with all you needed. Bit like the old days with a breakfast menu and room delivery (scrambled eggs a bit dry though 😩). Short walk to Longyard for a feed. Would stay again

GREAT FOR A STOP-OVER

Easy to see why this motel rates well. Good value for money, friendly, welcome drink on arrival and very clean. 

Location is convenient to everything and handy for groups with kids. Maccas opposite, golden guitar on one side and nice pub with good food on the other side. 

Highly recommend for families travelling to tamworth for sport.

Easy to see why it rates highly

My daughters and I stayed at the Golden Guitar Motel for a sport event overnight. The motel is in a great location, about a 2 minute drive to the sports arena, next door to the Longyard hotel and across the road from McDonalds. We had a complimentary welcome drink on arrival. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The TV was able to connect to Netflix via cast so the kids were happy. We would recommend and stay here again.
