Recently stayed for 2 nights with my elderly mother and her little dog. We were in the area to visit the Tweed Gallery and Margaret Olley museum. What a delight! Hosts, Veronica and Rick were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The rooms were perfect, everything you need and immaculate! And the gardens were stunning. We especially enjoyed the magnificent sunsets looking towards the mountain range. Thank you so very much!

Perfect pet friendly hideaway.

I spent two nights here as a short getaway from the city with my fur baby, Honey. We both had an excellent stay.  Rick and Veronica are very friendly and accommodating hosts.

I stayed in the King Suite. The accommodation was very spacious, clean and pets where allowed inside. Everything you would need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. 
It had large separate lounge, bedroom with king size bed and bathroom with a spar. There was a kitchenette including all the utensils or your own BBQ in a covered outdoor area if you like to cook your own meals while enjoying the peaceful landscape. 
There was a good size and well looked after pool (with spar and sauna available on request) just outside the suite. Well worth the price.

The whole property was beautifully looked after with plenty of seated viewing points for sunset/sunrise, nice garden walks or a larger bush/trail walk around the property and a dam with a kayak to swim or paddle with your dog.
Being on 35 acres, there was so much area for me and Honey to explore and for her to freely run around before cooling down with a swim in the dam.

The property has a great location. Very easy to find and close to so many dog friendly cafes, bars and beaches. Its only a short drive to the nice coastal town of  Kingscliff, with very nice beaches, walks and cafes.
The accommodation was also near to areas such as Byron Bay and Palm Beach. Making it a great starting point to spend a day exploring everything these places have to offer.

Overall had a fantastic time staying here with Honey, highly recommend! 

Great Holiday With My Fur Baby, Highly Recommend!

Lots of places claim to be pet Friendly, that is until you tell them you own a 60kg Great Dane. 
However this didn't deter Rick and Veronica at Tropical Coast Retreat. 
The entire experience was unbelievably pet friendly. Rick was very happy to meet and play with my Great Dane Bentley. 
 The property was in impeccable condition and morning off leash walks were set to a gorgeous backdrop of the valley below.
100% plan on returning one day and for anyone travelling in the area with a dog I can't recommend this Retreat enough, not only will you love it, so will your doggo!

Had the best time staying here. So relaxing. The place is spotless.  Not a blade of grass out of place. The owners put a lot of effort in to make it presentable and they are the nicest people you could ever meet. Definitely will be recommending it to friends. And I’ll definitely be back.

My Daughter booked this for us to stay in as part of my visit to Oz. Great location, well positioned for visiting Kingscliff, Murwillumbah and Cabarita. All great areas to explore. Fantastic beaches, creeks and tourist spots. The amenities in this area really are superb. Australia really does cater for outside living and the tourist so well. It is a small development which is presented in thoughtful manner with more than enough equipment and furniture to make your stay extremely comfortable. Presented in a spotlessly clean condition upon arrival. The grounds are well maintained and provide stunning views. Thee hosts are wonderful. Would highly recommend. 

A great place to be....

Veronica and Rick are sharing their little slice of paradise. We couldn't have been more comfortable with our little fur baby in tow. The room was clean and cossy, the bed was comfortable, the property is neat as a pin and the views are worth the trip on their own. We didn't use the pool but it looks great. We are so happy to have found this place and will be returning soon.

We returned for our second visit to the resort this year and enjoyed it as much as the first.
The accommodation is extremely clean,comfortable and relaxing, lovely grounds to let our 2 dogs roam about in ,fantastic views , and very hospitable hosts who are friendly and helpful.I can highly recommend staying and we will be back again

Weekend away with the dogs

This is the most beautiful and quiet hideaway.
So very happy that we decided to book this wonderful place. Beautiful views all around.
Very clean and excellent value for money. 
Rick was very welcoming and we felt right at home straight away. Definitely be back 10/10

Fabulous

We stayed here 3 nights and it had everything you need for a quite, relaxing getaway! Rich and Veronica were so lovely in making sure we had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again! Great to get recommendations for dining in local area also. Loved the surrounding, breathtaking views!

Best Hosts and Location!

Myself , partner and little dog just spent 2 nights here.  The accommodation was very clean and private.  The grounds are fabulous to walk around especially with your dog . Will be coming back in summer to use the pool.
