We had a very good experience in this hotel. Unfortunately, we just stayed for one night because we had stayed the previous 3 nights in another apart hotel which was almost the same price, and by far worse, so my experience in this one was a very good one.
The room is extremely comfortable and it works perfect for a family of three. Good kitchen, great bathroom, good tv, and good breakfast.
Parking is right next and under the hotel and is not an easy one, but you have direct access to the hotel. Service was allright, we had to wait to get into the room, but I can understand that. I did not like that much the location. Even though, it is in downtown, it is not a nice area of downtown, but it is not that bad either.
To conclude, I would recommend this Apart Hotel.

Go there....

I've stayed in many basic lodgings, some without indoor plumbing that were at least clean. This state of this property shows that the owners obviously don't care about the experience of their visitors. Every time we wanted to enter the building we had to wait a minimum of 10 minutes for the owners to answer the door. The bed was hard as a rock, the walls and curtains stained. The best part though was when I asked for additional pillows and was given 2 without pillow cases that had been shredded and with the filthy contents spilling out like something had been gutted. We paid for the night and found an alternative lodging right down the street but were forced to pay for a second night because we left early. Avoid this place at all costs. We wound up staying at the Dakar hotel for the same nightly rate and the people working there were so charming and helpful, a complete contrast.

Hotel shows lack of effort of part of owners

I paid for 3 nights and only stayed for two.  I only stayed because I had already paid in advance.  They confirmed my room, but then gave me a suite of much less quality ($150 less per night).  I tried to reason, showed them my confirmation from their Director of Reservations, but they did not care.  They had me wait for over two hours for them to resolve the issue only to find out they didn't even have the room I booked available. The service was terrible and the room was not very clean.

Will never go back...

We stayed for a month at the Gala apart hotel. It is family operated by Javier and his wife
Lorena. They live on the premises, so what ever you need is taken care of quickly. This is an intimate apart hotel with ten rooms of various sizes.  We had a full kitchen, A/C, and safe in our one bedroom apartment. The location is the best; you are close to all mass transportation, restaurants, and shopping .The hotel is open all year and has parking if you 
need it. Breakfast is brought to your door  in the morning by the discrete  staff . This hotel is modern ,very safe, and easily accommodates up to a family of ten. Enjoy your stay!
