The hostel is very well located (near the mall where one can snorkel and the marina; several blocks of the playeros restaurants that play music to full volume). It is also surrounded by trees and flowers. The room was spacious, very comfortable, with a backdrop, ventilator, hot shower. No TV, but good wifi connection with which the TV is not missing. The first night I felt a little uneasy because the windows did not have a place, only the mosquitoes could drink, but the climate permitted me to break the edge of the room.

A green paradise.

We loved our stay here, our room was like a tree house. The room was very basic, just a bed and a side table on each side of the bed. We had a private outdoor sitting area and our own bathroom. The room was clean, and there is a mosquito net around the bed. There is an ocean view, and you can hear the ocean, so nice for sleeping. The owners are very friendly, and breakfast is available.

Great little place

We've stayed here several times since 2015 and have had a lovely stay every time. The location is amazing, just outside of the center of town and across from the beach. It is a bit quieter here, and the water is relatively calm. 

The family that runs the guest house is wonderful! If you want to practice Spanish and converse, they are around but are not imposing at all. My kids were just 4 and 7 the first time we stayed here, and I always felt safe with them. 

There is one room with a private bath and AC. There are also some lovely rustic rooms at the front with sea views, including a treehouse room! We stayed in a room with two bedrooms, a private bath, hot water, and ocean views.

The internet works pretty well and is available throughout the property. There is a shared kitchen with a stove and fridge. They also provide drinking water. The family has several dogs and cats, all lovely and well-behaved. There are a few nice common areas with tables and hammocks.



Wonderful guest house right on the beach

We stayed in a mini suite with 3 bedrooms and a very comfortable exit, the cockroach bath or remnants of them a little dirty, the very kind people attended to us very well, a negative detail is that there is no water to serve in bottles at night, no they told us and we had nowhere to buy because the bar was already closed, the piqueis are very rich abundant, the site is the best the beach is incredible has that bridge that makes it unique, another detail is that the beach chairs were ruined and there were only 2 and I have a family of adults who could not enjoy sitting, but we generally enjoy our details a lot, I recommend it and I think we will return.

A fantastic place to be.

Beautiful cabin in a tree. Really fun common area, away from the noise of the city and bars. The sound of the waves from evening to morning even in bed. The hosts are adorable and their dogs are very kind too! It's authentic is what we wanted. And the shower water was really hot! What a pleasure!

Rare pearls

Indeed this hostel is located at the end of the village you will be quiet away from the road traffic and the noisy bars and restaurants, this place is atypical with its cabin appearance, dirty and cluttered furniture, it is not tidy and dubious clean appearance. It is still suitable for a short stay the double room on the back is correct with air conditioning and good bed and nice surface. for the younger there are bedrooms and a cabin in the trees on the ground floor and a reception overlooking the front of the hostel with a partial view to the sea. The reception is often carried out by a very old gentleman speaking only Spanish and it is difficult to register lunch here but it will not include a small room with a charm or a small air conditioning room. There will be a small room with a charm and plenty of room to stay in.

to the good franchette

If you are searching for a a peaceful, quiet and beautiful place in contact with the beach. Montelibano is the best option.
I've been here for 3 days and 2 nights and the atmosphere is always the same, relaxing, relaxing, relaxing. While hearing the waves. 

Pedri and Maria are really kind hosts, besides them if you are a dog lover, you will find here three wonderful dogs shaking their tales for you. (Akin, Cubala and the most playful one Jacko) don't be afraid of them, are big dogs but loveable like all. 

Furthermore, besides a stay here I recommend a breakfast of Maria, some typicals with egss but also you can have here tasty Crepes.  

Peaceful and beautiful gem in Puerto Lopez. 

The three of us stayed here fir three nights and enjoyed our stay. The hostel is just far enough off the main strip that it was not noisy at night.  But is still only a short five minute walk to town. 

We stayed upstairs; the rooms are simple and the walls are largely bamboo or wood. A fan was necessary but otherwise the rooms were good. Note that the treehouse looks like a funky place to stay  but it has no bathroom of its own. 

Breakfast is basic but appropriate for the price. They have a small kitchen for your use including a fridge. Friendly family business.

Good location and price

Pedro and María are excellent people, very attentive. reserve the room with air conditioning and it was wonderful. i will always return here. i consider it my second home. the spectacular prices and offered me a private parking lot. q more can be ordered.

I love this place.

We have just returned from an excellent 5 day stay at the Monté Líbano hotel in Puerto López and not only fallen in love with the hotel, but with the whole town. This idyllic beach front location allows you the beauty of the Pacific on your dorestep alongside the comfort and sucurity of a lovely family run buisiness. Ideal for our young family (children 6 and 4) as we had use of a kitchen whenever we needed it. The rooms are simple and small, but the perfect beach front adventure for our little ones with windy staircases and balcony’s with hammocks. Even little bits of safety have been thought of like stair gates at the top of staircases. Not flashy, but exactly what we were looking for.
