The hostel is located close to the main square. It's a family owned property. The owner was nice and friendly and was helpful. They serve a good breakfast for the price. Rooms are a bit small but a comfortable.

Nice location

Riom was smelly(from sewerage system) and it was cell like.

However for 10 bucks for single private bathroom some might be interested, I am not interested in returning here and was much happier paying the same in a nice dormitory in a hostel.

There's better places to stay

It's a great hostel, I've been there three times and I always feel at home, the staff is very friendly, the facilities are good, the location is perfect as it's close to everything, a good breakfast and a quiet atmosphere.

Kindness, as at home.

Located at the town center. This hostel has small but clean rooms. Only USD 18 / night for a double with a private bath, including a simple breakfast. There is a kitchen for cooking. Wifi is fast and staff are kind. What else are needed for backpackers?

Good value

This hostel is a bit neglected and in need of a bit of loving. The staff were helpful enough but seemed a bit young and inexperienced perhaps? 
Our room was dark and dingy and the bathroom was pretty dirty, with a mouldy shower curtain and a rubber shower mat that looked like it had been salvaged from a sewer. 
The sheets were ill fitting, and each night we woke up tangled in them. The beds & pillows had seen better days. 
We stayed 3 nights but didn't return for breakfast after the first day. It was fine just nothing special. 
The location of the hostel was central which was good. 

A little depresding

I returned to Otavalo and without hesitation returned to my home, Chukitos! Always with the kindness that leads Pintag, they convey joy and make your stay always seem short. They are always there to help you with any doubts or recommendations you may need. Good breakfast, good room with mountain views. Added wifi and reaches all rooms very well. A stay too pleasant!

Return to your home

We liked the attention of the owner as he was always attentive and concerned about us, we had a problem and that's why we arrived very late at the hotel and received us even with a smile. The location is perfect close to everything and only a few blocks from the terminal. Our room was a little small but very clean including the bathroom.

Hostel is cozy.

Very nice welcome, Pintac gives us a lot of info on things to do around the corner. Hotel very well located. Room and sdb quite large and clean. Water is warm. Ptit dej included and very good. Possibility to wash clothes. However, wifi is only accessible in the common room.

very nice hotel

The location is very good, in the center of the city, 6 blocks from the terminal. The village is amazing and the hostel is also. Economical and the attention of the people is perfect. I would recommend it and return. Very clean. The breakfast is rich, organic coffee and some very good bread. The individual room is not so big but has a private bathroom and TV. The WiFi does not reach me to room 503:

Buenazo is a good one.

Rooms and bathroom : very small and dirty

Staff : one of the guys was very nice. But the rest of the staff really don't care and answer to your questions watching their computer screen

Travel agency : terrible. We wanted to go the laguna de Mojanda. At first they said t was 20 US$ The roundtrip with their taxi driver if we stayed there just 20 mn. When booking the tour, it went up at 30 US$. And when getting on the van, there was only 1,5 seat on the front, and the driver tried to charge us 40 !!! 

Laundry : when giving back my clothes, some of them were missing but they didn't tell us. When we realize it, we asked them and they said ok we will give you the rest later on.

Not recommendable at all !
