We had the worst night here during our four-week trip to Ecuador. It was just Loud. And that was all night long. The room had no windows and everything looked wet and cloudy. There are enough other hostels in Baños for the same amount of money, but they are much better. What I have to say, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Noisy and noisy

Unfortunately, during our four-day stay, there was a renovation work. There is a kitchen for cooking downstairs. The kitchen and the community area are used by the family as a living area as well, which is why I felt partly disturbed.

For the price okay

Extremely unfriendly employees, unclear pricing and made up charges, not a word of English, lost half our laundry. Gave us wrong information regarding bus schedule and hiking trails. Do not go here...

Terrible

Excellent location, very cozy and above all very friendly staff. They help you a lot, orienting the area so you can enjoy it as a family. Definitely very recommended. Very clean rooms and everything very orderly 100% Recommended.

Tourism Tourism

We stayed here for two weeks and really had a super time. Our private room had a large comfortable bed and our own bathroom with shower. The shower has real hot water (not suicide electric head) and the hot water was consistent.

Our balcony had two chairs and we spent a lot of time looking at traffic and people below. We could see the waterfall through our large windows while lying in bed.

The kitchen is nice for a hostel and we made dinner several times. The gas stove is in a little room next to the kitchen in case you're looking for it in the photos.

This is not a party hostel, but the ground floor tends to be busy with reception, dining area, and lounge. We were on the upper floors and it was mostly peaceful. The first weekend we were there, a party pub up the street blared music until 2am but things were mostly quiet the following two weeks. 

Our price for such a nice room was very inexpensive, and is the best bargain for a private room with private bath I have ever seen in S. America. The owner and staff are exceptionally nice people. If you can deal with that party pub on the weekends, I highly recommend this place for couples or families.

Great Room for a Great Bargain

This hostel is very good. Everything is going perfectly. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a bucket of water available for the guests, so it reduces the cost of the trip.  The WIFI does not go very well, but it is common in the area. It is well located near the terminal. The rooms are a bit small. And finally, sometimes the son of the administrator is at the reception, who is not very willing to help or do anything.

Good quality price!

This was the worst stay we have had in our 6 months travel so far. The room is across the reception where there is constant talking, slamming doors. This in combination with the super loud music from the clubs in the streets makes our stay terrible. There is no way to sleep here. Not to forget that wifi sucks and staff is rude when complaining about the noise. Please: only stay here if you about to go partying until very late or get a top level room perhaps.

Horrible stay - VERY NOISY

We are from Barcelona Spain on a sightseeing trip.We have been coming to Baños for 5 years and always stayed in this hostel for the attention, convenience and price.In short everything is perfect.If they deserve a 10

Hostel in the Baths

It's an excellent hygienic place and with a great location, it's not as suitable to go with babies as I was. But it's a very pleasant option and the attention is very good.
