We arrived on a Friday and when we were going to pay for Saturday night a group of people arrived and took us out of the room without further explanation. Just because they had to take care of their pocket and their convenience, they were extremely rude to my mom. The owner, the owner and the owner's daughter with the bitterest and most horrible faces to attend to.

Pessimos dueños, equals a pésimo servicio!!

The owners of the hostel are adorable, they have good plans for activities in the area and are our listeners! The hostel is very clean, there is a nice kitchen and a laundry service and above all very well located near the bus terminal and the city, I highly recommend!

Very good price ratio

Positive:excellent location, central Negative: the staff was unkind, there is no parking in the premises (a 3 block, with extra cost), at night and at dawn there is a lot of noise and no rest, old premises.

Good location, poor attention.

This was a nice hotel for one night we arrived in Banos.  It was clean, and basic room, but they did our laundry for us, and helped with information.  They let us use their computer in the lobby for information,and their daughter was helpful also.  The only downside was their was an atrium outside our bedroom window that channeled the noise from the lobby, so had to wait until things settled down to go to sleep.

Nice rooms, and very helpful and nice managers

Staying in this hostel was really nice! The price is really low, but atmosphere in room seems like we were in a fancy hotel. Also, there is a toilet in the room, TV, towels. The stuff is really nice and helpful. + the location is like 2 minutes from the bus station. Big thanks for everything!

nice and really cheap experience!

We stayed 2 nights on a family trip (9 people), Fredy the manager was always very kind and concerned about our needs, we were on the 3rd floor overlooking the street, if I could sleep without problems, very little noise, seating and changing towels daily, it's a family business, they make you feel at home, you can use the kitchen.

 Excellent attention.

Our first time in Baños and we were lucky enough to arrive at this hostel where we were very well received, there was plenty of smiles and the desire to help from the people in charge. In the first few days Fredy was responsible for offering the tours for the best price. Together with his mistress they were always attentive to our needs and without obligation helped us to solve all sorts of problems that presented us. After Baños we went to tour other provinces and in each Hotel and Hostel we were remembering them for one reason or another (always positive). Finally we decided to spend here again our last days, it is like being at home. Very clean, pleasant, perfect for spending a couple of days or a full week!

It's better in the bathrooms.

We always invite you to visit this hostel and be grateful to the very kind owner El señor y todo bien limpo, it is close to everything from the center of the terminal earth.

Freddie treated us very well, attentive 24/7! recommended us activities and things to do very well The rooms are clean and comfortable! quality price perfect The location is very convenient and more so if you are carrying heavy backpacks as you are near the bus terminal.

Excellent stay!

Hostel Verde Vida exceeded all expectations. It was very clean (private bathroom was a major plus) and the managers were super nice and helpful!! We had four people in the room and were very comfortable. It is right in the center of Baños, walking distance to anything in town. There is not parking right by the hostel but the manager took us to a gated lot where we paid ~$6. Highly recommend staying here!!
