Stayed 2 nights with immediate and extended family. What a magic spot, ideally placed between 2 beautiful beaches and red rocks. The garden is gorgeous. Saw whales from the balcony and highly recommend the mint chocolate! But bring your mosquito spray and some mossi coils for the evenings - they're vicious!

What a fabulous spot!

This was our last stop on our 9 day visit to Dominica, for only two nights, and we wish we had checked in sooner (2 or 3 bases allow you to cover the island). We stayed in the cottage, which was tastefully decorated, well-appointed, and very comfortable--the best sleep we had on our trip. There is an excellent restaurant nearby, and the short walk to the secluded beach is a treat. And the staff was so welcoming and accommodating--great place!

Beautiful, private, and comfortable

I stayed in the smaller of the two cottages in October 2014 for a week and had a great time. It has a beautiful location with the best beach in Dominica (White Sands Beach). It's extremely safe and very reasonable. There is a lot of charm inside too. For nearby tours and lobster diving (!!!), Danny is the man. He lives just up the road, and you will surely meet him.

Beautiful property; on-site owner; awesome guide

I have visited Pointe Baptiste many times but this was the first stay in the cottage. Perfect for two people with front and back porch for eating, drinking or lounging. Of course the position of Pointe Baptiste – whether you are staying in the big house of the cottage – is what is so exquisite. The wild north coast of Dominica is on your door step: there's the cleverly planted garden of Pointe Baptiste (not forgetting the jasmine on the back porch), the red rocks and cliffs, and the two contrasting beaches, one of black sand and one of white sand, a five-minute walk down the trails from the house. The helpful owner lives on the estate and brought us fruit and home-grown herbs. There are always adventures galore in Dominica and Pointe Baptiste is one of the best.

Delightful experience

We stayed at the guest house on the estate, wonderful flowers and trails around the estate leading to the beach and more. The Guest house itself is very original and historic seeming, could've been a great semi rustic stay but there were fleas in the bed, and the sheets and pillows smelled of mildew which was visible on the decorative pillows. Some simple updating could fix the problems and make it one of the better stays available on the island.  
Upon discovering that it was fleas biting us we informed the caretaker and moved. He says he can't find the fleas, I told him to sleep in the bed and they would find him, however he insists it was food allergies or flying ants or such and charged us for a 7 day stay when we were only there for one flea-bitten get no sleep night. I know what a flea is and i know what i kept smacking and catching between my fingers to kill as I tried to sleep. 
Take your chances if he fixes the flea or mildew problem. other than that it was a rustic, vintage little place with access to the best trails to the beach and Red Rock haven for dinner. We weren't there long enough to try the cooking service offered.
