Diamond View Cottages

Clyde was a kind and gracious host. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and at home. The entire property had a comfortable and lush feel. Diamond View Cottages has all that a traveler away from home could want. The apartment is spacious, bright and cheery. The place is well kept and extremely utilitarian (110v and 220v outlets throughout the rooms). The kitchen is quite functional and fully stocked with pots and pans for all your cooking needs. The bathroom is roomy and clean as is the rest of the unit. Clyde is a prideful man and that is reflected in how Diamond View Cottages are presented and maintained. Located at the higher elevation, there is a sense of serenity and calm as the birds cheerfully chirp in the morning, the setting sun glistens off the sea below and even when it rains, there are rainbows galore, and finally, not be be missed are the brilliant night skies dazzling with stars so close as if you could just reach out and touch them. Just knowing that Diamond View Cottages exists and offers such wonderful accommodations, we look forward to returning to Dominica not only to participate in many of the activities (scuba diving, hiking, etc) this magnificent island has to offer (3rd visit), but definitely plan to stay at Diamond View Cottages. This is the place for you if you like independence and comfort. And because Clyde makes himself available, it is easy to have questions answered or issues resolved. In addition to the wonderful view from the property, the property itself is inviting and by inviting, I refer to the lush and well kept flower and fruit trees growing in the surroundings and the special lighted nighttime ambiance. Fond memories of Diamond View Cottages will last a very long time.
