We recently spent 4 nights here . Whilst the room wasn’t huge , its setup with the separate shower and toilet was great . What sets this hotel apart is its location and its service . Location - right above the exit to mimominchi station and the entry to the station is literally across the road . Osaka is such an easy city to traverse and the rail system great . From our local station we went to Dotonbiri / Umeda / Kyoto etc …. You name it . The hotel sits right in the middle of Minamimorimachi (南森町), a retail district in Osaka, known for the Osaka Tenmangu Shrine and the Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street. The shopping street is not even 100m from the hotel . We also walked the 1.5km from the hotel to Osaka Castie and back , an easy walk too . We stayed in a premium room that gave us free mini bar and access from 4-9pm each night to ‘ Sakura’ , at night the Premium lounge . You may not think a big deal , but after a long day on your feet , dropping into the lounge for a nice wine / beer etc and some great snacks was so good . This was such a surprise pleasure! The breakfast at Sakura was the best we had in Japan , and we stayed in 5 different hotels across the country . The front desk team were amazing . Forwarded our bags to our next hotel for us . Booked a taxi when we needed one , nothing was too much for them . Without doubt best service we received in Japan . May not sound like a ‘ biggie’ , but some nights you may not want to head out to a restaurant , right across the road from the hotel a really nice Japanese supermarket that was superb . One night we even grabbed meals from there . Oh , and right underneath the hotel a great coffee shop and next to that your requisite 7/11 . We loved this hotel and loved Osaka!
