This hostel is one of the worst I have stayed. The smell is awful, the bathroom looks in very bad condition, everything seems dirty. The only good thing is the location.
My advice : do not stay here, stay elsewhere!

Awful hostel

Do you know the feeling of coming somewhere to sleep, and then almost wanting to sleep outside in a park in stead? This is such a place – I have stayed in many budget places, and don't expect much, but this was one of the worst!

I, as a woman, was put in an awful room with a lock that was not working, while the other rooms were filled with male workers, with whom I had to share a bathroom without a door, consisting of a toilet with no lock, and a shower with just a dirty curtain. And just imagine when they found out they wanted to use it as a hair saloon, cutting the hair of all of them directly on the floor ...

The so called "common kitchen" was occupied by them as smoking room, and could not be used. The smell of course came into my room blending with the smell of dirt that was already there.

About the room, the window could not be closed, and there was no heating possibilities (the workers living there had their own ovens in their rooms). The temperature outside was just above 10 degrees celsius, and not much more inside – needless to say, I got the cold after my stay.

The only good thing is the central location.

This is not a hotel – stay away!

Located in a strategic position between the shopping centre and the street of the premises, it is the best solution for the quality/price ratio, you can hardly find better! I do not understand the negative reviews. It is true that it is not very easy to find, but with a little intuition (pod mostem means under the bridge) you find the right direction. It is not easy to find the entrance door because there is the bridge that makes shade and at the reception there is not much light (to be appreciated also for the ecological choice of energy saving). but after you have found it you will be greeted by a kind lady (not English but we understand it) who also invited us to eat at her house. If you are lucky and have the entrance door to the fifth floor of the hotel, you will be able to do very warm exercise (you usually do not have a lot of room in the hotel), but you can not sleep in a comfortable room with 5 rooms, but you can't sleep in a comfortable and comfortable room with a healthy air conditioner.

The best you can find in Ostrava

Unfortunately, we only stayed one night in this cozy, warm hostel, in a comfortable area to reach. Really cozy the lobby you just entered with great lighting; the hostess welcomes us speaking a great Italian (which is rare in those parts). And then she accompanied us up the elevator to the 4th floor to show us all the comfort of the hostel. What else to add... everything perfect. Very recommended. I don't understand the other negative comments, maybe they're from people used to the great English luxury homes... or the apartments in the skyscrapers of New York.

Maximum comfort at a very low price.

Excellent price quality, for the not-younger to enter this facility takes you back to the age of 35), although the internet connection is much better than other more luxurious facilities.

I have travelled through time

The hostel is really hard to find, especially if one doesn't know town. The room was okay, though a little creepy, I guess it's because I traveled alone. I heard the trains, but they didn't really bother me. 
Dislikes:
- no hot water
- no soap and toilet paper whatsoever 
- no english-speaking stuff
- don't accept euros
- three doors in my room, two of which I didn't have keys from
Likes:
- friendly stuff, at least if you speak Ukrainian to them 
- quiet, I mean, no people around. Literally, there like was no other person on the same floor.
- ok free wifi in room

Average cheap hostel

Exactly what one might expect for the money one pays.
Not only when it comes to the cleanliness (found some mushrooms in the bathroom, which was more a laughing matter than a serious issue to us), but also when it comes to the other guests of this property. Well, I believe it is not hard to guess the target group. 
Would not stay here again, yet if the budget is low...

Not much...

We were driving with friends from Latvia, Milan and on the way we stopped at this hostel in the evening. I'll tell you right away that they were looking for a vacation option. First of all, they couldn't find the right route for a long time - they were wandering for 20 minutes, because the navigator couldn't show us the right way and we had to walk down the road to get there. Under the bridge, it's in a literal sense! Then the sleepy girl couldn't understand what we were up against. But everything was shaking. But when I got to the room, I realized that we were in the era of soup, in Czechoslovakia, right!

Do not hope for much, but enjoy your bed - the only minus is that it is a bit loud. Big road next to it makes it a bit noisy and actually a bit hard to find. But its not dirty and comfortable place. Nothing special but not overpriced

Cheap and not bad located

This is a cheap hostel near Stodolni (walk, 10 minutes). I can accept any inconvenience, so I don't expect much, but this hotel was just terrible. Common bathrooms, were dirty and on the floor, near shower, there were real mushrooms on the floor. I will never stay there again.
