Booked a room with a shower and breakfast for 2 nights.
Arriving by train we were advised to catch a 100Taxi which would be to the right of the rail station, but none there when we arrived -perhaps because it was Easter Sunday. So we walked which is quite a way. Next time we would have a back up plan by investigating the local bus service, since the bus station is right next to the train station.
Very pleasant welcome. Beautiful atmospheric ground floor with restaurant [which was not open when we stayed here] and breakfast room. Throughout there is a theme of birds. The guy carried our bags up to our room 3 on the 1st floor. Thank you! The stair is a spiral type quite safe and easy to navigate. 
Maps on a table and plenty of info. We were the only guests in, so breakfast time arranged. The owners do not live on site, but phone details are there if there should be a problem-there wasn't.
Nice size light, airy room overlooking the street. Empty fridge, fan and heating with an ante room including desk. Separate toilet to the small shower room.
Everything is clean and well maintained, but the room was not serviced during our stay. A bottle of wine was given gratis. Wifi is free and fast.

The pension is well located in the old town just around the corner from the main square. Great for exploring the town. It can be noisy through the night, but closing the windows blocks it out.

Breakfast was a wonderful experience with eggs being cooked for you and also great coffee.  A huge choice of other foods, both sweet and savoury. Great quality and a very generous spread. We loved the taped bird calls played in the morning

Staff organized a taxi for us to return to the station. Thank you.

This lovely Pension provided us with all we needed with satisfactory accommodation  and the breakfast alone would be worth 5 stars

Lovely Pension with Fabulous Breakfast!

Stayed here for 3 nights accompanying my daughter who was starting university here.  The room was clean although noone came to clean or tidy in the 3 4 days that we were there. However it was not a big issue for us. The staff were wonderful and helpful especially Yan (hope I got his name right). The hotel itself was on the top floor while the restaurant was downstairs. We had dinner there one night and it was delicious and reasonably priced. For breakfast, on top of the breads and cereals, you can also have made to order eggs. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly return again. One suggestion would be to offer a hairdryer in the room. There was none and that last day in Hradec Kralove, I was walking around looking like an electrocuted cat.

Right by the square - great location, wonderful staff, clean and pretty

You just have to turn from the main square to a small street - and you're already at the entrance to the Dream Nest (that's how the name translates from Czech). Founded by three enthusiasts (who themselves work in it) the hotel has an incredibly cute interior, where you feel like a fireplace in a soft pajamas. In the evening you can have a beer with snacks in the bar (baked is delicious), in the morning a great breakfast (coffee is cooked in the kitchen in Turkey, and omelette or egg yolk is only cooked after your request - it's not even Swedish). We will definitely return to this table once again when we travel to this part of the country.

An unforgettable night out in the heart of the city

The hostel is located in a... beer hall. Which is not surprising for the Czech Republic. To get into the room, you have to go through the beer hall. The beer hall works for a few hours in the evening and it's not loud. The beer is served with delicious handmade chips. The chips are served with a very tasty sauce, the secret of which I refused to reveal. The room was on the 3rd floor. The room has its own veranda with a view of the inner courtyard. It made you feel like you are in the heart of a medieval city. The room is clean, spacious. It will be suitable for accommodation for 1-2 days.

Cozy and original hostel in the heart of the Old Town

Very pretty, quaint hotel. We had a beautiful bright room, with plenty of space. It was lovely & warm, squeaky clean with comfortable beds & bedding. 
Location excellent, just off the main town square. 
Very friendly, polite staff, who spoke good English. 
A varied choice of tasty food at breakfast, both hot & cold. 
Thank you for making our stay in Hradec Kralove so enjoyable....

Quaint & Friendly

I spent a night at the pension and I was nicely surprised.
Great beer, fantastic service, easy going staff and theme of the pension will immediately impress you.
Pension is located in the old town center in the spacious historic building.

The beds are stylish and very comfortable, I've had  one of the best sleep.

Fantastic location, theme and staff

We stayed here two nights in a cycling holiday. Our bicycles were safe and secure in an unused room in the building. Our room was huge with big comfortable beds. Breakfast was great with eggs cooked to order how you liked them- in addition there was cereal, bread, cakes, cold meats cheese, yogurt and most importantly coffee also made to order. The owners of the guest house were very friendly with a good standard of English. As we were the only guests the second night and were cycling to our next place they said we could take whatever we wanted from the breakfast table for our journey!
Nice place- I would recommend. 

What a nice guest house and such friendly owners

I stopped with my family and friends to meet the New Year and rest before the road to Austria (the mountains). How nice and cozy I thought of everything here when I saw the birds hanging here and there. They were everywhere! That's when I realized that I'm sleeping down, it's not a sleeping nest as I thought, but an owl's nest:). So, there were birds everywhere.
